Linden Vey speaks passable Russian - and he and Podz were put on the same line for the playoffs. He played quite a big part in Podz' success.

That 71.4% is Jason Robertson's number. (Took 7, won 5) Jason Dickinson's number is 46.3% ( took 296, won 137)

We need to fill the farm team roster too, though. Some of these fringe players would be good call ups if in Abbotsford. Also, JB needs to get the pipeline filled by getting some of our European prospects on ELCs, like Karlsson, Costmar and the young Finns and Russians, and get them over to the farm where we can direct their progress.

[Report] Alexander Edler to hit free agency

In his last Worlds (didn't Sweden win it?) Hedman was his defense partner iirc Or maybe it was Klingberg for the early games -

As long as it's not Chicago. "Eddie the Hawk" doesn't have quite the same ring to it ..... -

I don't think it was the money so much as the role he'd be asked to play here. Would he be satisfied playing behind Hughes, Rathbone and Juolevi as a spare 7th d-man? I doubt it. And for sure he still thinks he is useful on a powerplay unit. -
All this talk of needing a RHD is puzzling to me. In our system we have a player who in his sophomore year was considered the best D-man in college hockey. Yeah, he is a lefty, but while comfortable playing left D says that he prefers right D because that way he plays with his back to the boards and sees the whole open ice - feels he is much more effective there. Oh, his name? ....... Quinn Hughes If Green weren't so darn stubborn we could have an awesome defense.
-
I said it elsewhere - Green is going to pair Woo with Rathbone for a couple of exhibition games to see what he has there, and Woo will stick. The pair had a great partnership in Utica during Bones' stint there

One was picked up by The Hockey Guy - looked neat modeling it in one of his today's videos .....

Yeah - need to get the nuances right. Subtle difference between Valley Fog Grey and Squamish Fog Grey. One is more ...... greyish, maybe?

I play golf regularly with a guy with a swing like Steve Stricker's - no wrist cock at all. So, ofc, we all know how he is referred to
-
He sure can feather a pass though
-
I read somewhere he's a bit chicken in the corners - all cluck and no peck

Or turn Motte loose to 96 him in an intra-squad game
-
We already have enough forwards that would meet the necessary conditions - Eriksson, Roussel, Highmore and MacEwen.... also Pearson and Motte if either is left unprotected. (And that's why we aren't seeing any buyouts of Eriksson or Roussel before the ED). We don't need Virtanen, but my guess is that JB is just biding his time on the off chance that Seattle might select him (some Kraken fans want him) or another team might ask for him to help them meet their exposure requirements

Dammit you are right !! It was meant to be John Vanbiesbrouck - I didn't realize that wiki put a slew of other fotos up on an entry as being ones that might also be of interest. I actually changed the file name too, lest someone just copy and right click to get the attributes. I was sure that I changed it from "Vanbiesbrouck" to "image" but obviously not. Don't remember seeing the Larkin name at all, but ofc now I do when I look back. Grrrrr

In his Utica stint he played left D with Woo as his right D partner. Formed a formidable pair. I would think Green pairs them at camp and for a couple of exhibition games to see what he has in them as a duo.
-
Watch Green groom Podz as a Center - he has all the necessary tools
-
Jake was that player. 3 of his first 4 full seasons he led the team in takeaways per 60 mins (the 4th he was second to Liepsic). Supplanted last year by Hoglander in total number and by 6 others in per 60 mins led, of all people, by Eriksson.
