This year his net KHL salary. after Federal, Oblast and Ekaterinburg city taxes, would have been around US $815,000 to $840,000. To break even with Canadian Federal, Provincial and City taxes, the Owners' salary clawback and Escrow, the gross would have to be somewhere around US $2.9 and $3.4 million. If his agent is worth his commission, he'll start by asking $3.75 or thereabouts. Maybe less for longer term Were not getting him for $1.5 to $2 million (Does anyone know if Canadian based players pay US Federal and State taxes based on prorated games? e.g. if Edler plays 41 games in Canada and 41 in the US, does he pay US Federal taxes on $3 million? And if, say, 6 games were in California, does he owe State taxes on 6/41 of that $3 million, and so on for each state? Or would he file an 8840, claiming a closer connection to another country?)

Was on loan to the Manitoba Moose AHL team earlier this season. Got in 1 game , made 23 saves in a 2 -1 loss, named 2nd star. Just 20 years old. -
Sign Edler to replace Boomer as the D-coach?
-
Rathbone plays left D I'd like to see a 4/4 mix, with experienced D paired with rookie/sophomore D Left: Hughes, Rathbone, Juolevi and Tryamkin Right: Hamonic, Schmidt, Myers and Rafferty Don't know where that would leave Edler, if renewed, and Chatfield, etc, but it's a good problem to have. I'm guessing Rafferty gets let go *Hello Kraken?" and perhaps Rathbone flips between the NHL / AHL as he will still be waiver-exempt next season

He'll take a penalty 1st shift being a tad aggressive, oppo will score, and Green will bench him for the rest of the game. Then he'll watch the next 16 games from the press box. "Tough love", Green will call it .... " That's how we brought Jake along"

Swap Pearson and Boeser. Hogz, Bo and Pearson have had great chemistry all season, until they were split last game. And we know how that ended. Sorry, but Mac isn't getting dressed. Green thinks "he needs to show more". And Vesey isn't sitting out. Good chance Motte will be back, so no Lind yet -

Schmidt is a +88 after 435 NHL games. He must be doing something right defensively

I could be mis-remembering, but wasn't Juolevi an emergency callup when Edler got suspended?

Bit of a shootout ..... now 5 - 3, with Focht getting a goal, assisted by Gadjovich End of 2nd. Comets outshooting Rochester 30 - 17
-
Now 4 - 1, Will with an unassisted 2nd goal
-
He's played 400 regular games over 8 seasons with the KHL, and 40 playoff games, plus 79 NHL games. We know a lot about him
-
Signing Tryamkin would be as much a pre-emptive move as anything. Do you want Petey, Bo etc to be facing the Tram for the next 5 years as he toils for San Jose, Anaheim or LA? (let alone Calgary or Edmonton)
-
Or Juolevi back to the taxi squad. Wasn't he the emergency callup?

Naw - if you watch the 2nd Toronto pre-game he was asked specifically if his not playing was a coach's decision. Green played cute, with the "banged up" comment, then went on to say he had to show more, and that he liked the play of the (then) current bottom six. It was obviously a coach's decision. -
Isn't the Hockey Hall of Shame located there too?
