  1. But Podz with an assist on that 3-0 goal Final score: St Petersburg 3 - Dynamo Moscow 1
  2. St Petersburg up 2 - 0 at end of second. Podz with 8:36 on ice in game so far. Hasn't figured in either of the 2 goals
  3. Totally different circumstances Miller never tested positive, Benn did, but JT was staying with Benn, so was quarantined as a precaution until subsequent negative tests. Neither were in prolonged contact with other team members, so no-one else on the team was compromised. So business as usual (link to news report below) 2 Montreal players tested positive, and both were in close contact with the entire team, practices, playing, dressing rooms etc etc. So all team members need 2 consecutive negatives 48 hours apart before all clear. Hence postponement https://theprovince.com/sports/hockey/nhl/vancouver-canucks/miller-benn-forced-to-miss-canucks-opening-week-due-to-covid-19-tests
  4. Scoreless after the 1st. Podz with 4:42 icetime. More than his linemates, so I assume he was used for PK duties
  5. The kid line stays intact as the 3rd line for today's game ... Podkolzin - Morozov - Marchenko
  6. Trade him for Burrows contract and have Alex run our powerplay
  7. We'd rather have perspiring players than expiring ones anyway
  8. Note that its "potential" bonuses. For Hoglander $200K, Petey $2.850 million and Hughes $850K. The only solid number so far per the Province is that Hughes has earned 56/82 of $450K ( I am not sure if the carryover $1.7 million forms part of the $3.9, of so it would be solid too) I'm not sure how far down the road a team can push bonuses ... there are others here far more knowledgeable than me on these issues. Here's a link to a different site, but pretty much the same layout - can enter a particular players name for greater detail: https://puckpedia.com/team/vancouver-canucks
  9. Heres the link to Capfriendly .... scroll down to the statistics section (after Luongo): https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/canucks
  10. Indeed ... 11 points in 71 NHL games with 3 teams spells "journeyman"
  11. When loaned to the Moose he was their first line center and in the handful of games he played there led the entire AHL in scoring and in plus/minus
  12. Might as well fly in Gadjovich and Rathbone and give them the remaining 20 games experience. Playoffs out of reach now
  13. Horvat at 69% face off efficiency - Miller at 58% and Gaudette at 57%
  14. My insider buddy tells me its 'cos about 4 weeks ago, OJ took the last donut that Green wanted, at the hotel breakfast
  15. Would have to be around $3.2 million to match, after escrow, covid clawback and taxes, what he earned after taxes in the KHL this year ($1 million gross - he'd keep about $840K after Federation and Oblast taxes)
