St Petersburg up 2 - 0 at end of second. Podz with 8:36 on ice in game so far. Hasn't figured in either of the 2 goals

Totally different circumstances Miller never tested positive, Benn did, but JT was staying with Benn, so was quarantined as a precaution until subsequent negative tests. Neither were in prolonged contact with other team members, so no-one else on the team was compromised. So business as usual (link to news report below) 2 Montreal players tested positive, and both were in close contact with the entire team, practices, playing, dressing rooms etc etc. So all team members need 2 consecutive negatives 48 hours apart before all clear. Hence postponement https://theprovince.com/sports/hockey/nhl/vancouver-canucks/miller-benn-forced-to-miss-canucks-opening-week-due-to-covid-19-tests

Scoreless after the 1st. Podz with 4:42 icetime. More than his linemates, so I assume he was used for PK duties

The kid line stays intact as the 3rd line for today's game ... Podkolzin - Morozov - Marchenko
-
Trade him for Burrows contract and have Alex run our powerplay

We'd rather have perspiring players than expiring ones anyway

Note that its "potential" bonuses. For Hoglander $200K, Petey $2.850 million and Hughes $850K. The only solid number so far per the Province is that Hughes has earned 56/82 of $450K ( I am not sure if the carryover $1.7 million forms part of the $3.9, of so it would be solid too) I'm not sure how far down the road a team can push bonuses ... there are others here far more knowledgeable than me on these issues. Here's a link to a different site, but pretty much the same layout - can enter a particular players name for greater detail: https://puckpedia.com/team/vancouver-canucks

Would have to be around $3.2 million to match, after escrow, covid clawback and taxes, what he earned after taxes in the KHL this year ($1 million gross - he'd keep about $840K after Federation and Oblast taxes)
