  8. Here's the play I was referring to: 20200118_150026.mp4
  9. He was taken off the #1 Powerplay yesterday after second time of not holding the puck at the blue line. Second time had to be bailed out by Mikey as he hopelessly lost the foot race back against a speedy Wolfpacker. Beezer replaced him and subsequently he played second unit paired with the speedier Mitch Eliot
  10. From today's Canucks Army: Vancouver Canucks prospect Linus Karlsson has a new home in the Allsvenskan. The 20-year-old forward will join BIK Karlskoga and has already played in one game, scoring two assists. Karlsson last played for Karlskrona HK in the Allsvenskan league, where he scored 42 points in 89 games. This year he had notched eight goals and 14 assists in 36 games. The 6’1″, 179 lb. native of Eksjö, Sweden, was originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks, but the Canucks acquired his right in a Feb. 2019 deal for F Jonathan Dahlen. Dahlen returned to Allsvenskan this season on a loan with Timra IK where he has scored 54 points in 37 games.
  11. He had one huge hit last night that drew gasps from the fans and a "WOW" from the broadcast team
  12. Those of us old enough to remember the old Moose days can see some resemblances. The boost to the big club when Kesler, Burrows, Bieksa, Edler and Hansen all got called up, sparking the run to the cup finals, might be replicated by Bailey, Lind, Jasek, Rafferty and Juolevi. Not saying the skill level is comparable, but the injection of energetic, hungry youth does work wonders. Don't always need to trade for some other team's discards, or sign FAs to generate excitement and success. (And as an aside, I think Jasek is the unsung hero of the Comets this season)
  13. Nux 5 - Sharks 3 Bonus 1. ..... Nux Bonus 2 ..... Edler
  14. Yeah. - Ollie took over Brogan's spot in the #1 Powerplay this evening
  15. The trouble is, he's had call ups these last 4 seasons, 3 with Buffalo and one with Philly. Total 63 NHL games with 5 goals and 4 assists to show for it. May be another Boucher
  16. Bailey with an empty netter for his 3rd hattie in 4 games. Lind with an Eriksson type unselfish feed for an assist 20200117_182931.mp4
  17. Camper with an empty netter makes it 5 - 3
  18. Still 4 - 3 with 4 minutes left in the game
