  1. Quite the turnaround ..... Shots on goal: 1st ... Canucks 16, Condors 5 2nd ... Condors 15, Canucks 6
  2. I never did understand why Colliton hasn't used Hoglander on the PK. I would have thought that would have been Managements mandate to him, to develop Hoagie as a Swiss knife utility player Great vision by Hoagie there on Keepers goal!!
  3. Sure hope it isn't Abby's PP coach who takes over in Vancouver - too many passes and too few shots
  4. And another powerplay coming for Abby. - 4th in this 1st period
  5. Hoagie takes a hooking penalty (Shots are 14-4 Abby)
  6. Poor Hoagie... hits the post on a clean breakaway
  7. Although all 3 (if necessary) games are in Abby, tonight's is a "home game" for Bakersfield, so they have last line change. Would have been nice if they had changed jerseys too, but no

  9. Big statement night for Karlsson tonight. He was somewhat overshadowed last game by all 3 on the Hoagie line. Wouldn't be surprised if he had a hattie tonight
  10. He's had more hits in 2 playoff games than in 2 seasons with the Canucks
  11. Lind with a goal and 2 assists (and named 3rd star) in the Firebirds first ever playoff game - a 5-1 win over Tucson
  12. Doesn't get much higher than playing for Latvia at the Worlds in a must win game to ensure continuance in the first tier
  13. Shutout for Martin, yet the crazy thing is that Silovs will start Friday. Colliton has been adamant that he's alternating the two goalies
  14. He's listed as 6'1" and 178 lbs, but about a month ago the intermission piece on him said he was 6' 2" and playing at 195 lbs. If he could just develop another gear he'd be a prototypical power forward at that height and weight and skill level
  15. He lost the trust of Boudreau with some poor defensive coverages, but for sure has tightened that up under Colliton. I was surprised he wasn't a staple on the PK, like Karlsson is. I'd have thought Hogz game - tenacity and retrieval - was tailor made for penalty killing
  16. Linus isn't speedy like Hogz or Gnarly. I see Hoglander as a Garland replacement and Karlsson more as a Boeser replacement, but stronger along the boards. They were both dynamite when they played with Aman as their center for a few games. That would make a great 3rd line for the big club
  17. Second only to Woo in penalty minutes too. Not a shrinking violet when it comes to the after - whistle scrums. Another trait Tocchet will appreciate
  18. Meanwhile, down south, Kole Lind has a goal and 2 assists as the Firebirds lead 4 - 0 thru 2 periods in their game vs Tucson
