  1. I’ve seen more of that accidently on purpose stuff not getting called. Its a blatant penalty.
  2. That’s a major realization, and recognition to not change your game when everything is going right.. The “old school” saying in that situation is “when you smell blood, finish it for the kill”. Elias, and our compliment of younger players have, I hope,. Learned a very valuable lesson. Believe in yourself. Highmore, Lamikko, Lockwood, Podz, Petersson, Burroughs, Dermott, Dries, Petan play every game as though it’s your last,. And it may never end.
  3. We should be sacrilegiously going to PGT ! throw the glasses into the fire place ! burn the books!
  4. How old is he now? Feels like all that should be left of Suter is Cardboard Cutout
  5. Hats off to Bruce , he’s not holding back on ice time to anyone,. They’re all in it together
  6. A little more info on the grievance regarding this player,. From a Sharks feed .. If the termination is upheld, that means the Sharks are free and clear of the $22.9 million dollars owed to Evander Kane over the next three years, both in terms of actual cash and on the cap. However, if San Jose loses the grievance, that entire amount, minus what Edmonton is paying him this year, is back on their cap. The NHLPA told San Jose Hockey Now in February: “The hearing date will be scheduled before the end of the season.” However, there’s no clarity yet on the exact date of the hearing. But clearly, the wheels are being set in motion if Evander Kane is in New York conferring with the NHLPA. A league source told San Jose Hockey Now last monththat they “likely will try to get it heard earlier” than the Draft, scheduled for Jul. 7-8 in Montreal. That’s key because it’s a pivotal off-season for the San Jose Sharks, who will miss the playoffs for their third straight season, but are under the gun to quickly improve the team after re-signing Tomas Hertl to an eight-year, $65.1 million dollar extension. The cap-strapped organization will need all the cap space that they can get. my apologies, I can not seem to paste the link.
  7. Thanks Stawnzy , I some how over looked that on Cap Friendly , thought this was his UFA year again.
  8. Schenn has been a solid acquisition for the Canucks again.. I for one wouldn’t mind see him back next season , Perhaps a 2 year deal, moveable of course. I think eventually he would make a fantastic D coach.. the physical guys know the mental part of the game all too well.
  9. My 2 bits: personally , I think “The Book of God” , was never really titled that. Initially I think it was titled “The Book of Good”. Back durring and after a time a gentle man walked the Earth durring grossly Barbaric times to pass on teachings of love, good will, and respect to others. Almost every where the word “God” exists, it can be replaced by “Good”. I also beleive the book was used to create other beliefs, things written in the original book changed, and used to create other followings for gainful purposes.. because the Book of Good , made sense and people understood it. I do beleive there was a Jesus,. a god ?.. yet to be proven.. as is an afterlife, yet Star Wars, we are on the verge of.
  10. Even that should be considered tampering perhaps? The contract I’m assuming is between player and team only. Feels like the league opened up a can of worms and are trying to amicably settle this for Team and the NHL. Assuming,. something like this takes place, one has to wonder if an out of court settlement with the league comes out of funds the league has, before or after revenue sharing is divided. ? There have been other instances.. K Beach, T Bertuzzi-Moore , .. off the top of my head.
  11. It’s about time GM’s and owners held the NHL accountable for fairness , and stop making up rules as they go. I think this whole cap system is looking like a a joke.
  12. I wonder if the NHL trying to save face and come up with some settlement that pays out his full contract, and then some for wrongful termination. This is going to be interesting.
  13. Previously you said JV has Ben convicted of rape ? is that true ? I did not think he had been to court yet? Your quote : “ Virtanen is not a good example because it's false. While he was convicted, it happened after he played. “
  14. here, hope this makes your day.. it’s a fact. The fact: there are nhl players that have been convicted as criminals , allowed to play the game. https://www.thesportster.com/hockey/15-nhlers-who-have-been-to-prison/
  15. Bob Probert, Danny Heatly, Dino Cicerelli, Patrick Kane.. the list goes on. again, my comparison had nothing to do with JV .. The JV comment was an extended conversation of how Vancouver handled JV’s contract,. And how the ShRks terminated Kanes.
