  1. Yeah , so where are the other 6’8 252 pound D men that can skate with his agility? .. they’ll all play for under 2.5 m ?
  2. I appreciate even more after this post,. He may have been the first indicator to show how terrible Desjardins was, …. And who in the hell thinks Weed doesn't stink. .. at least he is honest. Weed Stinks.
  3. This was 8 years ago Tas. Young kid in a foreign country.
  4. The report translated from Russian, differs slightly from the Tweet quoted: Defender Nikita Tryamkin told about his career plans in an interview with SE. Former defender of "Motorist" Nikita Tryamkin does not comment on his future. - I'll say this: I'm not negotiating with anyone in Russia yet, - said the hockey player. - It won't be fair. I'm waiting for a call from across the ocean, but I confess that I'm not going to wait long. And if it doesn't exist, I'll instruct the agents to look at the Russian options. It should be noted that in both the KHL and the NHL, Tryamkin is an unlimited free agent. This season, the 28-year-old defender scored 11 (2+9) points in 64 regular season matches. In the NHL, he played 79 games at Vancouver and scored 11 (3+8) points.

  6. So they do this everyday Tas? or is it just some kind of team building event once a year? Do all NHL players do it ? Did Byfuglien, or any other player in the NHL do it? or is it just some kind of fan fare rallying cry? How does it work if you come from a foreign country ? is it well known? Show me stats and abstracts please
  7. You havent watched him play, and you don’t need to. no one has ever called him an enforcer, but you seem to think someone has. He is a very good pk’r. Shutdown D man, his speed , size and coordination is above average . He would pair nicely with any Skilled , lighter, D man as a great guard. His D board work is intimidating. …. and get this ground breaking news sporto, we are cap strapped as a team , and he would probably sign for around 2 mil just to work with Gonchar and a larger RuZ contingency of players than what there was before. It’s an opportunity for player and management. How much are you willing to spend for our D core , and what type of player would that be? .. now you can dance.
  8. Who said enforcer? .. any 21 year old that can shutdown and take Jamie Benn out of the game gets my endorsement .
  9. who needs to grouse grind when you can grab a guy with one oven mit on, and clobber him 3 times with the “toaster” ?
  10. Such a true statement, It’s the same as comparing a forward who is a “driver” to one that is “complimentary”. We have the “skill set” Dmen, now we need the “Guards”.
  11. The main reason Boston dropped this first series after a record breaking regular season of 82 games is Burn Out.
  12. I just hope he gets the opportunity to prove himself here in a better climate than what it was. If he signs somewhere else, I’ll still be a fan of this player, and may have to stomach the fact he might Crush Petersson.. just remember this,. I told you so.
  13. Ps. matured ? we’re taking a 21 year old to a brand new country and lifestyle, .. this was 8 years ago. Let’s not forget he was back here waiting to be signed 3 years ago as an RFA . unfortunately JB has no cap space to offer him anything. So he left not wanting to lose a position and miss a contract back in The KHL
  14. You can keep your opinion, the only way you’ll be validated on it is if he plays here. … and if that happens and your right , I will acknowledge that . but I totally disagree with you.
  15. One season.. his first .. with Desjardins trying to break him , rather than work with him. Desjardins never even spoke to him.. his (WD’s) own words. no one in the team spoke Russian. Was not a good time here unless your name was Chaput Megna or Vey,. I think Mcann was even shafted by Willie. Some players do deserve different attention than others for obvious reasons,. but the preferential treatment the above 3 players got in comparison to the attention (or lack of) Tryamkin got was obvious. I compliment what management is doing now with respect to communicating to the RuZ players we have. Its a different world they come from in contrast to the world we were born into.
  16. Personally agent, seeing the contingency of RuZ players on our team now, especially with a Russian/ Player/ Coach in Gonchar,. I don’t think atmosphere and communication is anything like what it was when he first arrived as a 21 year old.
  17. 6 meeeellion dollars worth of Myers ,. keeping him and resigning would be your move,. Not mine.
  18. His game is diffrent,. It’s shutdown D, intimidation, with above average skating and coordination. same type of game as Zadorov,. but not a 4m ticket. I didn’t think we needed any more skilled small framed D.
  19. Why you sorry ? some kind of passive aggressive thingy ? Great assessment = Ben Hutton lol anyway , I’ll leave you to baiting, and selling ice cream. …. Ben Hutton lol.
  20. What’s the point? The hecklers can’t get past 2016 -17
  21. Well 118 hits in 64 games with a TOI avg of 18m, and still a mainstay of the pk. Nothing wrong with that . … but I’m sure you enjoy the smell of weed, and are frequently invited to Canucks greatest Coach e v e r , Willy D’s weenie roasts through the Summer with Chaput, Megna, and Linden V.
