You’ve obviously been condemned for life from something lol. Every one plays contract to contract.. it’s a different decision every time . My work is contractual, year to year.. sometimes with people I’ve worked with before, sometime new people. -

Just throwing this out there, hoping to create a storm… His present season is over, out of playoffs.. 1 year left on a contract that could potentially be bought out for peanuts, given the value of the Ruble. ( mutual contract termination in KHL is allowed) Russia is going to be a poor country for a long time.. Can someone slide this memo under Alivin’s door please.. 6’ 8. 250 -

Bo is doing ok , but can he do this? -
Yes, It’s noticeable.. he is methodically getting better in all areas.. and not forgetting about his 200 ft game in the process. as young as he is , it’s nice that he is not trying to out do himself, or get wrapped up in his physical game yet.. that too will come , in fair time.. and I beleive from the strength he does possess , he will be a beast. Id like to really see him get a chance on the pp.. I know Chaisson is playing very well on it lately,. But even in this game in the 3rd, I’d like to see him crease cruising.

I’d say it’s impossible to pry either one from Yzerman in Detroit,. They both fit the Wings time line perfectly, money wise too. Detroit and Buffalo are looking to ratch it all up next year.. great products. -

[Rumour] J.T. Miller Trade/Contract Talks
SilentSam replied to Podzilla's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Every team does this with players Alf, it’s defining who is truly worth the money. We cant be paying Bo and Brock 7+ m, Do we start saving that 8m number for Petey, who isn’t there yet. 3 players on this team that you can see will be worth 8 are Demko , Hughes, Miller.. it’s the term and clauses that can handcuff more than the money.. if I was a high end player on the Canucks, I would take 7.5 - 8.5 for 6-7 years,. but I would want movement flexibility from the 4th year on if we were not in the playoffs. LE handcuffed us because we couldn’t move him, and he would not agree to go. players working with you in a contract for flexibility are worth a bit more per year, or in bonuses. my opinion. -

[Rumour] J.T. Miller Trade/Contract Talks

Boeser has been given every opportunity this season to play to the level of what his QA offer will be. I was hoping to see him moved after Christmas, there is no way he is worth his QA, and certainly no more than Garland. I think The only way he stays is if is contract is extended at his present 5.8 for 2 more years, and tradeable. Or Perhaps he is part of a package where his rights are traded for a decent / mid 1st round pick. I think we may have seen the last of Boeser, perhaps moving closer to home and his ailing father will help his situation. im looking forward to watching Motte perform in the playoffs,. That was a player worth trying harder to make happy. -
Canada to start offering doctor-assisted death to the mentally ill
SilentSam replied to Coda's topic in Off-Topic General
… and who is to say that I couldn’t have that same clarity while having treatment .. Euthanasia was only brought to the table 30 years ago for discussion,. I seem t remember Washington State voting on it .. it didn’t pass back then, I think it was 52 % against — 48% For. but that was the first time I can remember it going to referendum. That showed then how open minded people were to this type of topic in general ,. impressive I think. -

A very interesting topic indeed.. not unlike but somewhat dis-similar to what exists for me as my health and quality of life dissipates over the oncoming years. In a my clarity in this moment, I would say that I would sign a non resuscitation order , and be euthanized if I became terminal, incapacitated, or have loss of control of my life.. mentally or physically. Whats to say everyone can not? Why should we not grant everyone , regardless of health and well being, mentally or physically, that option. At some point a discrimination issue will be made of it by someone who is mentally unwell, to be able to have that option, and take that responsibility, rather than live in the extended empathy of others. I take pause in all my thoughts on this.. but it’s easy to understand, not all situations are the same. But at the same time, why would we not extend the free rights of someone healthy, to those desperately struggling over many years of mental illness, which can be so much more painful than those dealing with something physical?
