Tryamkin has been watched by many in this thread closely for the past 3 -4 years. His game is easily NHL ready,. As it was when he played here as a 21-22 year old. He is 27 in August,. and at this same age Tryamkin is easily comparable to a young ZChara. Hard to put a ceiling in Niks game, as most here would agree his game is probably better on the NHL size surface .. something that the KHL has been adopting over the past 3 years. This word and situation of “entitlement” was a forced error brought up by Desjardins, who openly pressured management to have a meeting with Nik to play in Utica .. I say “forced error” because going to Utica was a “no go” written in his contract, just like it is written into others players contracts on this team, and in the league. Tryamkin declined to go because he didn’t have to.. and neither would I in his case. Old school Willie continued to throw Nik under the bus in the public media, bringing far too much negative opinion to a young 21 yr old prospect that had already shown that he could play and stay with the Canucks. again the “forced error” Desjardins created, which forced management a meeting, and his own “Coaches Entitlement” cost him his job.. fired. Should have been the year before. Tryamkin is everything this team needs , an iron warrior at 26-27 yrs old built for every part of the game.

Heavy pressure for Holtby.. hope he nails it.

Podkolzin is good on, and under the ice too. ( somewhere in Coal Harbour, Podz arrives to Vancouver.. ready to go)

I see a Vesey Motte line tearing the gouges in the crease off the Habs .. the energy and chances those 2 could produce is going to be exciting to see.

Nice, still a contract that could be moved. -

Bennet and Podolzkin on this team would make Jake worth trading,.. and yes, trade him to the Bruins. There will never be another Cam Neely.. not in this century, it’s far too “millennial”. -

I think Bennett would re- invent himself here with Motte. RFA 1.8 - 2 mil for 2 years. perhaps even work his way up to the top 2 lines when needed. -
perhaps not your type ? nothing wrong with that.

Has ping pong been effected by Covid ? I don’t think so,. 6 foot distance required to play the sport. probably the first Covid socially distant friendly sports ever invented ! butt , there is this beauty..

Or live in a void like you.. happy Friday.

What does it matter? perhaps a coaching job / trainer comes out of it.. we need one of those too.

Have always appreciated your input and humour EP but possibly, if Chara has a year left in him as a mentor , play 50% of games, and have him available to us for playoff contention.. could be another bird in the hand ( big bird) one that could bring wisdom and guidance to even Myers and Schmidt. 1- 1.5 m for a year? Russian connection Tryamkin Podz Chara,. and if Zhukenov has a good camp..
-
The only contracts on D we are tied into are with Myers, Schmidt, and of course Hughes. Everyone one else is at loose ends or expires. at 1.5 m this season Chara is also a UFA , just sayin. would I rather have Chara here than Edler? hmmm ? and considering Tryamkin theoretically signs as well ? our D is in the perfect position of deconstruction to construct something very positive.

Here in the Nikita Tryamkin Thread, we care about everybody. something just for you , a little bit of that special treatment Nikita gets.

He plays both sides, and is impressive on the PK. typically likes playing right side. but I imagine his numbers would rise with Hughes.
