  1. Podkolzin is growing another inch in this 2nd period Im Looking forward to seeing this young man with EP 40 and others
  2. I can not see a ceiling on Podz development, to me his work ethic is driving all that he can do and learn.. ive said before , he has the tenaciousness of Stan Smyl ,. and the way he gets to the net is not unlike Bure going outside and taking a line. a couple of bang up years with the Canucks and we might see another power forward that would look great in #44
  3. Ive been far more excited to see an emergency goalie play hockey for 3 mins than watch LE play for the last 4 years. Perhaps thats the way to finish him off,. Play him 25+ mins every night this season.. if it dosent work anymore, Break it, and buy a new one.
  4. I beleive both Hughes, and OJ (games played), as well as a host of others we have are exempt from the Extorsion draft.. Edlers and Benns contracts will have expired by then,.. Myers, and Schmidt are all that’s left to protect with NTCs.
  5. We are allowed to protect 3 d men, Id say we protect Hughes Schmidt and Tryamkin. Edler will be out of his contract, Highly doubt Myers is taken,. Or Benn. every one else on D is ineligible I beleive Harry ?? (Jolevi Rafferty Rathbone Woo Chatfeild) or am I missing something here?
  6. and interestingly enough the KHL regular season ends on Feb 27th. Avtomobilist is presently outside of playoff contention. The month of February might be very interesting.. if Tryamkin is able to cut lose from his contract, it will not amount to much money paid to do so.
  7. Not bad stats for a player on a team that is not performing well the past while.
  8. .. and this was posted on Niks Instagram today... I beleive we will eventually see him one way or the other.. sooner or later.
  9. Save the Thunderbird Holtby. Those who segregate us are Racist.
  10. To me, this issue is case positive in some one paying respect to a culture and time .. it tells a story of not only how much it is appreciated, But how it still survives, even past the racial division. art was never created to divide our races or heritages,. But to create an appreciation and respect, hoping to survive the decades ahead of itself , sharing with each other in eternity. My hat goes off to Mr Holtby for paying this homage to the distinctive culture that has existed on the west coast.
  11. When have Artists not been inspired by the art of others? Its a crazy world when the inspiration separates itself from the eyes that see or here it because of race, colour, or creed it originates from. Paying homage, was always respectful,. Now it becomes a fire to light in disguise of a “cause”. Is music next? Do we shame Led Zepplin ?

  13. It’s stuff like this, he makes look effortless,.. it’s actually a huge shut down play. How long is that stick !?!?https://twitter.com/Fan2Abby/status/1336329027376668684?s=20
  14. When did the Russians care about where the money came from Cs? Regardless of how this unfolds, and yes, it’s been a bit of a saga.. I think this is the last year for Tryamkin to play in the KHL,. He was poised sign with us recently after his last season. Only affected by a management unclear on cap space and contracts in a wacky year . The one year contract that is expiring soon, and the fact he waited for the Canucks to find room for this season, should be a clear signal to all parties of his interest. Good for the Big Man to keep his legs active on the ice when others haven’t, sure to be an upside in his game. The KHL might be lucky to have this season finish on time, and if it does, Tryamkin should clearly have the opportunity to step over to the Canucks, who might be only into 1 or 2 months of the next season.
  15. Jake better get his act together,. Or it’s good bye Tuna.
  16. 2 prairie oysters out of the same sack.
  17. Seems the rest of the World is playing, and active athletically, .. and to any NHL team to be able to access their best prospects to play before they lose them , gives them options in difficult times. Dont forget, the AHL did not finish their season ,. And has yet to even think of a start up. I don’t think those lads have been paying dues during these times.
  18. Best off season move by the Canucks,. But I’m sure a lot of posters will say Judd Bracket has his name all over this one too.
  19. Given the hardships each team faces in keeping players healthy, and a complete pool of alternative players, during the regular season. The league should be supporting the teams have access to all of the players they have signed and hold rights to. These are different times, it’s the main reason the CBA has been re-opened . If any player in the world, has his RIGHTS HELD, and was DRAFTED by an NHL Team,. That Team should be allowed to attain his services as long as that player is out of any present contract.
  20. not ba Not bad personal stats in a teams loss.
  21. A little off topic ,.. but hard to resist..
