.. more so WD lasting as long as he did.

With you 100% Fred. .. the NHL is creating a high risk tournament . It’s unfortunate. If I played at that level I would bow out until the next season starts. The PA and NHL could be working out many better things for the future of the game at this time.. Owners in cities with low attendance should be given pragmatic solutions to relocate .. Quebec deserves a team back. Another out west... portland, Frisco, Oakland , Diego.. Seattle is going to go off so well, looking forward to that. Fighting this Pandemic is just flailing stupidity.

That’s where it’s going to backfire and mess up the quality of the “playoffs” this season , if this gets off the ground.. I mean seriously, is it so hard not to realize that the last 2 remaining teams might only be able to dress 10 decent players without it be coming the year of “the emergency call up player” Cup?

Is but isn’t relevant. .. I beleive most teams need to see where the Cap space for next season before any major signings take place.. As in Tryamkins case. . CapFriendly (@CapFriendly) Tweeted: The June 1 deadline for clubs to sign players to contracts that begin next season which was extended to July 1, is tentatively set to expire tomorrow. This was to give clubs additional time to sign players to 2020-21 contracts if the league held firm on no new 2019-20 contracts.

It does seem though, by watching the graphs, that after the case count rises or spikes,. It’s roughly 3 weeks before you see the cases that require medical attention surface. How everyone’s immune system is different, and who’s to say that this virus can not be making itself weaker or stronger after it’s passed on to the next person.. mutating. ..and or,. How it cripples the ones who may be “at risk” with other ailments. This truly has to require the patience and respect it deserves .

I’m sure some competition would come into play regarding that figure . 31 teams.. 7m per =. 280m involve the tv network’s and perhaps there carriers can do better.

Lol,. I just pictured the Stanley Cup Final , 10 guys on one team , and 8 on the other team. Last man standing wins. it will be like trying to play street hockey as a kid thru dinner time,. “Mil ! .. your mums calling you for dinner ! “

as you and I are well aware, a “force majuers” Does not always mean coverage.. but it can cancel out where contracts need to be fulfilled and thus have accumulated more debt because of it .
-
The league has locked players out for an entire season.. no problem then. Any body oweing any body anything in a situation should be covered by a “Force Majeur” clause Mil. This is just Economic politics and greed pushing a situation into the redline.

.. last seen on cam footage at a McDonald’s drive thru..

I just see shutting this season down to be more of a blessing in disguise aGent.. I think it’s time that could be better spent planning a stronger, more productive League operation, for the future of the game,. Rather than the band aid it’s going to be and fall off.

Ironic that the league is begging players to play, when the money made primarily goes to NHL/TEAMS, at a time where PLAYERS, have for the better part, played to the term of their contract. Only a few years ago, the NHL prepared long to Lock out players an entire season and did, when the PLAYERS and PA felt it could have been played through and negotiate fairly. If this season does not return, I wonder if we finally see the franchises that are weak, or possibly collapse into bankruptcy, move to cities more popular for hockey. I am looking forward to Seattle entering the league.. I have friends there that say that our same “Cult” following of this sport, exists stronger than we can imagine. Look how Vegas did.. fabulous. Time to exit the sun belt , retirement state.. Get back to Quebec City.. and explore more opportunities in the West. Portland, Frisco, .. road trip any one? I for one hope they cancel this season, and hope the league and PA spends this time restructuring the NHL to be stronger than every, in good health, and in every way.. including a fund to support itself in times like these, or to reciprocate back into the sport. A better leader, one who knows the sport is needed, is needed to guide both the players and franchises. its long overdue for this sport to have a better NHL president,. most have been lame. names like Rutherford, Burke, Holland, Yzerman, Lamorello and others could create something special of this League that has no competition but itself and the way it is managed.
-
So everything I’ve read about a possible start up to finish this season and playoffs,. Has players showing up to teams as “voluntary”.. perhaps the league is shooting themselves in the foot by NOT allowing players in the similar position as Tryamkin to sign and play if their rights are held by an NHL club.. that includes drafted College players as well. thoughts?

If he does not ice a team to win, he will be called out on it.. and by that I mean every able body to choose from is above Eriksson. anybody who puts up a defensive play argument for him is putting the puck in our own net. This series if it goes is all about an offence that can win it, and a rotation of 4 healthy lines.

... that’s about 5%.. .. and they haven’t played a first period yet. .. it’s practice. Covid 5 vs Hockey 0

There’s a difference between looking like your in shape and being in shape too though,.. I’ve never seen quick feet or strength on Eriksson.. to me on this club, JT Miller is a player that has step and strength over the fitness mag model that Eriksson really is.
-
Where there is confusion,. There in lies opportunities.. perhaps if LE does not return or is poor shape , he is not living up to his contract? Rick Dhaliwal (@DhaliwalSports) Tweeted: There will be hard decisions to make with the lineup and not showing up ready to play might make Green’s decisions easier. It would not be in the best interest for any player to show up to the Canucks camp out of shape.

Sounds like social distancing lol... I don’t think any of us have grown any softer for it

They hired them as the fix for the draft at this point.. an article I read said that he fills one of the many holes they have to keep them operational and costs down through losses at this time. -

Vegas named NHL hub city when play resumes

That’s kinda funny ,. Considering that was the players thought process last time they got locked out. -

My sentiments exactly, on this topic.. a piece of the radio interveiw. Lets not forget the owners locked the players out for a season over revenue sharing. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/kevin-bieksa-still-skeptical-nhl-will-return-summer/
