I read today that Putin is starting to shutdown parts of Moscow, social distancing will become new norm and borders will be tightened up.. My prediction is that after only 3 weeks of social distancing, Tryamkin will generally look more like a Canadian West Coast boy, Same Big Feet, just and a little rougher around the edges.

I honestly have not seen him,. I spent any wee hours with eyes on Tryamkin. But I do know the Canucks scouts would be aware of him, as Podkolzin plays on that same team. Anyone who may have been watching Podz more might have some input .. @Hairy Kneel @Stierlitz ?? could be too that the Nucks have depth in their D corps / farm that they need to cycle in to NHL games next season.. Zub might hinder the farm cycle that needs to happen. Rathbone, Rafferty, Breisbois, Chatfeild Tryamkin are all legit D men looking to rise.

Pretty sure now that the KHL has canceled the playoffs and the rest of the entire 19/20 season because of viral concerns.. contracts expiring would be contracts expired very soon.

I think the KHL took it as far as they could go.. and their season would have ended April 1st. i beleive the NHL will follow suit , it is a wiser thing to do for most of the points you have listed Jan. Im sure we will soon read of NHL / NHLPA meetings to fairly sort pay out on contracts remaining, whether expiring or in term. Fighting all of this will prove to be neglected and disastrous. As a fan, I want to see a fresh (20-21) season unaffected.. rather than one that would be affected by this epidemic. nobody moves, nobody gets hurt.

I see the KHL has officially ended the 2019-20 season... hmmm .. i think i hear a contract getting ripped ripped up some where in Russia.

So you haven’t watched any games. Ive watched Tryamkin in 10 this season, and all 5 of his playoff games in which he was the most dominant player on the ice. Scoring , as a D man is not dominating.. if you are scoring as a D man, your Defensive partner is controlling the Defensive part of the game.. probably a far better D man, than the one scoring. Ive watched a lot of international games, and yes, turned some off. I would be shocked if Tryamkin is not a top 2 pairing D man after 1 more NHL Season, or less. I am expecting a lot out of him,. expecting less would not be respecting the way he can play. Tryamkin with Hughes or Rathbone, or even Stetcher would be a fantastic combo . Build a wall with him and Myers, Fantenburg, or Edler.. actually Edler might allow Nik to rush like he can, it’s incredible to watch 250 lbs traveling as fast as he does. Cheers, Provost.. I do respect your opinion, and I know you respect mine.. I’m just terribly excited for this young man who was overlooked in his first draft, yet still traveled to North America for it.

I think you and I are very realistic in our hopes, and like minded on this ,. I see Boston just signed Wolff , a big rangey D man out of College. He could get NHL minutes next season, his age, and physical game would want to take an impression from Chara’s.. while Chara is still playing. Benning has stacked us with various options to keep this team in playoff contention for the next 5-6 years, and yes I see a serious cup run in 3 years, fingers crossed that this was one of them. I would love to see Toffoli sign here.. I wouldn’t be surprised to see if this Epidemic, brings a sense of “hometown” to a lot of players, especially if your TT, and your best friend in Pearson plays on the same team. So much potential on this club rising.. Guaddette, Miller, Pearson, Toffoli, MacEwan, Motte, Virtannen, Pettersen, Hughes, and I will include Myers on that train. .. and so much more not too far away,. Tryamkin, Podolzkin , Hoglander, Rafferty, Rathbone, Chatfield, Lind, ... the entire curve is still going up.

Have you watched any games that Tryamkin has played in the past 3 years?
-
Considering our up coming cap situation, Im on the fence to letting Boeser go for a solid future investment.
-
Just An FYI .. in the past 2 seasons of play NT has been posting an average ice time of aprx, +21 mins a game. This playoff season, with the KHL using advanced analytics, with the micro chip in the skate. Tryamkin was skating 5 kilometres a game, in comparison P Datsyuk on the same team was skating about 3.5 km per.

I’d like to see us pry Romanov (2nd rnd pick) who had a great WJ’s out of Montreal.. but I do agree, having 2-3 russian players is a better environment than having 1 alone. Romanov is, or is very close to NHL ready. . I could compare him to Rafferty right now who is older.

I too think he will fully recover,. I posted earlier in this thread my own journey with a concussion and symptoms that lasted over 15 months before I was able to return to work. Yes, all injuries are not the same, and no, I am not a professional athlete.. but to even be “off” that little bit in the way your brain “fires” and “signals” , only creates other problems that make it not healthy to return for fear of hurting or injuring yourself in the same or dissimilar way. Micheal is doing the right thing. This season seems to be a right off for all anyway. I just hope he is able to continue the recovery and exercise well at the same time. Exercise is a good measurement to recovery.. the brain will only let the body do so much before it fatigues. That I do know myself from my journey, and I think that is something that could relate to what we have seen with Micheals recovery. in his attempt to return to hockey in a Toronto game, Ferland played well, I was surprised to see him go to the dressing room. But Ferland realized he was “off”.. that realization is a healthy factor as well.. he stopped before another possible injury of any kind. I do think Ferland will be back looking fantastic. Its a journey that grabs you and takes you below water sometimes,. But when all has cleared, everything is fresh again .. Im sure Sid would say the same,. and like others here , I think Crosby’s journey might be the comparison in this recovery. Miller, MacEwan, Virtannen, Tryamkin, Myers, Rafferty, .. there will be a few here that can have Ferland back,. and quite frankly I’m losing my taste for the “staged”, “get back”, or after a clean hit “retaliatory” fight. They are not calling the instigator like they should.. get back to that, and be militant on that penalty and that part of game will evolve for the better again.

I could see I’m on the PK easily.. and even the pp being that go to drop pass.. Nik at 40kmh can not be stopped on the outside wall.
-
.. once we get playing hockey again, and Tryamkin is here where he should be. Lets try to get a few of the good fellas here to meet for a game and bevy of choice. Fri/ Sat game/ games Maybe meet at “ticket window” and we claim a few seats together.. preferably home blue line , Tryamkins side of ice ( either L or R). ..and If @Stierlitz can make it, perhaps he tells us how to say: “ take his head off Nik!” in Russian ?
-
True. Tryamkin is a better wall than the one Trump is trying to build. Nik comes equipped to mount guns to as an option accessory.
-
Kirk Maclean.. who is a big part of a Cup appearance Game 7 as anyone who scored. nominating Jack Maclhargey.. changed our Defensive presence and mentality for years after.

I laughed as well Hairy !! kid covers so much ice with that stick and the strength behind it.. his cycle shutdown starts with the strength on his stick to mess up the carrier, and then... (The Original Hit Version)

Just want to say that the level of confidence that Tryamkin played with in the 2014 WJC, is the same confidence he plays with presently,. He showed it this season, and in the 5 playoff games he played with Avtomobilist. He just wasn’t on the right Team for the “pull” to bring him to his fullest potential.. This season his confidence level is the same as what’s hilighted in this Vid. Next season , if he is with us, I see an even bigger impact player than what we have seen, because of the Team he will be part of.
-
Geezuz,. Where were you 500 pages ago? Could have taken all the piz out of it then ps. Trade Boeser.
-
Tryamkin is free to us to negotiate something fair for both parties. If he isn’t with us next season, then tenatively we lose a player whose has ten fold the potential to the Bruins latest signing. Tryamkin to me has already proven to be an NHL player having 79 Canuck games under his belt. Like I ask anybody else, have you watched Tryamkin play any games in the past 3 years? I find what I have underlined to be contradictory , it states “ whose SPC has expired”.. separately. “Professional Games" includes the following: any NHL Games played, all minor league regular season and playoff games and any other professional games played, including but not limited to, games played in any European league or any other league outside North America, by a Player pursuant to his SPC. (c) Group 6 Free Agents. (i) Means any Player who is age 25 or older who has completed three (3) or more professional seasons, whose SPC has expired and: (i) in the case of a Player other than a goaltender, has played less than 80 NHL Games, or (ii) in the case of a goaltender, has played less than 28 NHL Games (for the purpose of this definition, a goaltender must have played a minimum of thirty (30) minutes in an NHL Game to register a game played). For the purposes of the foregoing, the term professional season shall: (A) for a Player aged 18 or 19, mean any season in which such Player plays in eleven (11) or more Professional Games (including NHL Regular Season and Playoff Games, minor league regular season and playoff games, and games played in any European professional league, while under an SPC), and (B) for a Player aged 20 or older, mean any season in which such Player plays in one or more Professional Games (including NHL Regular Season and Playoff Games, minor league regular season and playoff games, and games played in any European professional league, while under an SPC). (ii) Any Group 6 Player shall, at the expiration of his SPC, become an Unrestricted Free Agent and shall be completely free to negotiate and sign an SPC with any Club, and any Club shall be completely free to negotiate and sign an SPC with such Player, without penalty or restriction, or being subject to any Right of First Refusal, Draft Choice Compensation or any other compensation or equalization obligation of any kind. although I do understand the signing rights.. Tryamkin already had 4 professional seasons under his belt when he signed with us. I thought his SPC expired 3 years ago when he left? So he is eligible to become a UFA after one more season with us? .. because arbitrary, he has only been signed for 2 not 3? then the other one is Group 2, but the deadline for contract to the NHL, should not include the KHL because there are no transfer agreements? I appreciate this discussion mil. Cheers

Sounds like a young man Who was intent on finishing his education while still chasing his dream.. I like this. A full grown body that can definitely put pressure on others at Camp.. if there’s any physicality or grit to his game e will come in owning it. best of luck Marc!
