I do not see that D line up as unreasonable,. I would love to add Gudbranson in there somewhere,. He is an RFA this year,. and maybe , just maybe , a place that Edler might call home since he has a boatload of colleagues already in the State of Florida ( Ohlund, Jovanovski, Mitchell, Luongo) Sbisa, like Edler ,. Have been getting to many minutes,. Not that they can't handle it physically, but mentally, each going over the 20 min TOI .. Start to mentally fatigue, and make mistakes. A solid core that can share that time almost equally16-20 mins (+\- pp PK time) would be a strength in a young core. Larson has great potential, hope he gets healthy and strong over the Summer,. He , like a few others we have, will raise a few eyebrows next season. .... Now add Stamkos, Lucic, and Gudbranson over the Summer, Boom !

In watching a lot of Nik's hilites this year, he WANTS to shoot the puck.. An opportunity on the pp with that Heavy Low shot will cause all kinds of mayhem I front of the net.. He also does remarkably well posted in close to the crease. Tonight will definitely be a test of Nik's fortitude against St Louis.. Is Reaves still suspended??

17 mins of ice is pretty good time for his second NHL game! ... It certainly sounds like he is getting WD's and Baumgartners trust.. Nikita is the perfect proffesional with his approach to his game... Im sure once he times his physical play and presence,. He will be told to "show" us what youve got, and dont worry about the mistakes. in all of the video ive seen of NT,. Once he gets his great speed up , he is almost unstoppable,. Rarely guys get in front of him or challenge him on the boards if he is bringing the puck up or out of his end.. i think by next weekend,. We will see how well he has adjusted. good luck Nik !!

Nik The Hit-Man' Tryamkin

Great first game for NT .. Would have liked to have seen him get a minute on the pp. we have yet to see the best of Tryamkin,. But there is a complete D man there.
-
Words of someone who spends too much time "rolling up to win" .

... It's called a "bag skate" for a reason.. And it's going to effect a man who is 6'8" and 250 lbs differently than someone who is 6' 1" and 190 lbs. I would NOT read anything into his conditioning and a BAG skate. His anaerobic conditioning from shift to shift is something far different. . I'm sure he will be fine.

I thought Steirlitz had translated that it was a hand injury ? Either hand or shoulder,. The way he was releasing those slapshots late last week after his arrival,. He did look good to go.
-
And then i heard he was on the ice practicing within 4-6 hrs of landing here.. If thats true, this young man is passionate about acomplishing his goals and his dreams. we should all be excited for him,. And show nothing less than the enthusiasm and passion he exudes.
-
Catching up on some of the excitement here for NT.. and an earlier reference to the mean streak of Pronger.. To me Pedan may turn out to be meaner than NT,. But 2 big mobile full game men, the likes of what Pedan and Tryamkin bring will out weigh and out play what a single Pronger, Chara, Burns, or Byfuglien bring in a single game. . Id say about 40 mins of 460 lbs a game will have a few opposing forwards changing lines pretty quick just sayin ..

... Anybody try to tweet J Trudeau? .. We could offer him the first selfie with Nikita on Canadian soil,. And then JT could tweet Putin: @Putin .. We have your secret weapon.
-
He is quick for his size

Moscow is 12 hrs ahead,. Could be on a flight while we're asleep.

Lots of good NHL ready prospect and picks to trade up with. Including Demko.

Great News,. Just took the liberty to translate it on my iPad.. Thanks jstewboy ! it is from his KHL teams website. "Avtomobilist" let Mikita Trâmkina in North America March 6, 2016 Nikita Trâmkina contract ends April 30, 2016 onwards, but the Defender has appealed to the Club requesting to release it early, to travel in North America. As we have informed, Mikita drafted by "Vancouver". "Avtomobilist" went to meet his pupil, so the current season he will continue in Canada. It should be noted that the right to a hockey player in the KHL remain for our Club. We wish good luck to Nikita

Apparently Ian Macintryre of the province has just tweeted some great news Check this out: https://twitter.com/intent/like?tweet_id=706314304102895617&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&original_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.canucks.com%2F%3Fapp%3Dcore%26module%3Dsystem%26controller%3Dembed%26url%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Ftwitter.com%252Fimacvansun%252Fstatus%252F706314304102895617&tw_i=706314304102895617&tw_p=tweetembed

Steirlitz! Thanks for all your updates!! Hope you get some well deserved rest this weekend.. and hopeful we get some great breaking news saying Mr Tryamkin is confident enough in his game to continue his journey into North America. Being noted as a probable pick for the National Team is no small matter,. Hope that inspires him as this season ends and the next one begins.

Thanks Jiggs! Fun times ahead.

Perhaps,. Just never know what other teams scouts see, . He has had a diminished role,. But that is solely due to Hansen's game becoming fierce. Burrows is a solid shut down guy, whether it be the pk or a high profile pair off against another player.. i dont know if its Alex's game dropping off,. Or more the change team characters surrounding him. I do however think his game would be better with a coach that might utilize him better. If we take 25% of his salary plus a 2nd rounder (or Dalton Thrower from The Habs system)?? the Habs recently moved Dale Weiss to Chicago.. Perhaps Burrows is that replacement.?? ... And where the Heck is STEIRLITZ with his daily fresh reports extracted from the Russian Newspapers ?? Anyone no if Mr T has been eliminated from the playoffs,. Or have i missed the quote?
-
Vrbatta, Prust, and others to Free Agency,. Burrows off season to Montreal for a high 2nd or better ... And maybe, just maybe... An offer for Stamkos too
-
And if the dollar was par, fly SouthWestern to catch a few playoff games in Utica

I appreciate your similar assesment of Tanev Boudrias,. Tanev is a good Dman, but the lack of physicality of our Dcore does not compliment his type of player. Is there value in Tanev, yes. And i think, given the circumstances, a straight Tanev-Hamonic has potential. Unlike others, contactuarily, he can be traded. Edler i would like to see resign (not re-sign) himself to Florida. (Or Tampa. All swedish Dmen go there before they retire anyway .. With Hamhuis ofc the books,. What about an RFA offer for Gudbranson? or a trade for him? the other UFA end of 2017 is B.Burns. Yes, sounds like a big wish, but the Sharks situation is an interesting one come Draft day,. Theyre first pick is one in tbe 4th round.. and how they sit after that im not sure. Thornton and Marleau are UFA's, pavelski, couture are long term. if they fall short of ghe western final, do they risk icing the same team, or even possibly minus Thornton and Marleau next season.. If they are looking for change, possibly dictated by theyre playoff finish.. Perhaps Burns (modified no trade) who is in his prime, is the right asset to move to begin that restructure ? the other interesting thing to note (besides this being a Tryamkin thread) is that it was SJose that inquired about Miller last Summer,. Jones can not carry that team alone, and Reimer is not much for help. So Hypothetically, the potential names i would like to see chaulked in our D next season, within the organization, no particular order or placement are: (Edler or Tanev) Hamonic Gudbranson Burns Sbisa Pedan Biegga Tryamkin Sheilds Larsen Hutton

Thats interesting, because when Tryamik played at the world juniors his name and play was well noted.. The fact he was remaining at 66th, may turn out to be the real shocker. hope we here more news soon about Tryamkin, it sounds like his teams playoff run may end within the next couple of days. Would be good if the Nucks reached out to him and offered their medical and training staff services as i hear he has been playing through an injury.
