  1. The Vikings expanded the horizon with their orgies years ago,. Our modern day confusion is a direct result of that.
  2. ...Just when i thought the 2nd day of this thread would bring out all the fun guys .. More doom and gloom.
  3. Wait a minute, .. aren't those JBs' eyes behind that balaclava
  4. So that's why he's so popular here Sorry but I see Shink in the same light as Jordan Shroeder and Cody Hodgson,. Kids that have great minor league game but can't quite crack the pro level... Sometimes it's about priming in age. Some kids prime early, some late, some lose it , cause others get better later and out perform them.
  5. Naslund wasn't the best skater, and didn't get his game together til he was 24-25 years, we were lucky to grab him.. And at that time we thought we had traded a beast of a player away for him. We were thought to have lost that trade off.
  6. Mmmmmnnnnnnot so much Alf we were lucky to grab Naslund before he got his game together at 24-25yrs old. Granlunds stats are similar.. Just sayin. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=3912
  7. Kid could be another Naslund.. Naslund didn't do anything til he was 24-25 yrs old. I can not beleive the amount of negativity here.
  8. Ps. Really appreciate all of your updates on N.T. Stierlitz !! You really do follow his updates well
  9. Owwwch.. That injury is concerning, shoulder, rotator injuries need rest or repair. Really hope its nothing serious.
  10. From what ive seen of this years hilite reels, its hard to disagree with that. He is a young man who has been playing in many situations against seasoned vets for 2 years. I would say he is easily better prepared for the NHL than Ben Hutton was to start this season. He is fast, strong, thinking, and even keeled. If all goes well,. It would be nice to see him get 5-10 games in with the Canucks before end of season. personally, i am not intrigued by the playoffs for the Canucks this year. I can not see us getting in more than 2 home games before we would exit ,. And quite possibly, severly beat up.
  11. Need a Byfuglien to polish Pedan an Tryamkins teeth awwww see Alf, your getting me all giddy !
  12. Nik the "Hit"-man !! ... Pedan n Tryamkin are Russian Bears
  13. Correct me if im wrong Stierlitz, but i was under the impression that his KHL contract expires after this season? Therefore if his regular season is over late Feb,. And his team Avo does NOT make the playoffs, he is free from the KHL?
  14. Have to eassily agree with Jazz, lots of footage on YouTube,. be sure to go to more recent footage.. Looked Solid in the Spengler over the holidays, dont forget, this young man is 21-22, and for his size he is one of the most exceptional skaters ive seen. usually Logging 20mins of ice time on that big sheet.. And i dont see a problem going to the NA ice sheet.. His mobility is similar to Buff. Really hope we get him over here to Utica or a stint with Canucks after his KHL season ends, tenetavly end of Feb.
  15. Just watching a little bit of this ASG..   I think someone in the AHL could seriously develop John Scott into a 5-6 Dman if they took him on as a project for 1 Summer and Season.   Thoughts Rock's?

  16. Heya Stierlitz, anything else on Tryamkin ? I'm finding it quiet too.
  17. Pretty sure I read an article late last year in the Province newspaper that explained that if a player hypothetically speaking, signed a 3 year contract for 1m USD per year,. the conversion to Rubbles was immediate at the date of signing.. and that number of Rubbles never fluctuated with the money market to convert to the equal number of USD. I could be wrong, and would like to be corrected if anyone knows more about this.
  18. I think his game is fantastic,. But now has to make the transition to the smaller ice surface if he wants to play in the NHL, . And he has said that he does. This year might work out perfectly if his KHL club does NOT make the playoffs.. as he becomes free from his contract with them, and potentially, could still roll into the Utica line up before the Comets playoffs. He might appreciate getting paid in USD over Rubbles too just 2 years ago 1 USD got you 33 Rubbles,. Now 1 USD will get you aprx. 75 Rubbles.. I believe all contracts are converted to Rubbles, and paid in Rubbles when signed in the KHL.. I believe they DO NOT float the USD exchange rate.
  19. Skates fantastic for a man that size, and his take off speed is not slow. Im sure if he got to Utica, he would prove to be essential for our needs. Might be the best move he made was starting in the KHL,. Gave him the room to work on his skating,. The small ice here, may have hindered that development for him. ps see his team is 4 points out of a playoff spot right now.
