  1. Well I think we have two really good assets in Kuzmenko and Gonchar who would be happy to help steer Nik back , and if this management group is doing their homework, they’ll see the special prowess this player has , and steer him i back to this city. be a good question to throw at Alvin , see if any reporters have ANY good questions about the Canucks interests in him, and what is coming available at the NCAA level.
  2. In all of the evaluations taking place on the Canucks for the rest of the season, I hope Nils Aman is NOT overlooked or discarded. Too much upside in all departments,. I’d like to see him get to skate on the top 2 lines every now and then.. I think Nils could turn out to be a very valuable player on this team.
  3. I swear he tests his knuckles before this season is over.
  4. Great skater heads up , not out of step with EP and Kuz
  5. Just had a quick look, it was Jack Capuano and Doug Weight coaching him in 16-17 rookie year.
  6. Each line getting a goal tonight I think.
  7. Beauviller is a very good skater, good hands.. NOTHING wrong with him , great part of a good return.
  8. I think a solid summer of training here will better his skating,. There’s not much to tweak other than training regime .
  9. You guys have no idea of life inside Russia , and what insecurities that government puts into people. my hat goes off to Podkolzkin,. Who has stuck it , and then has created the catalyst for Ilya And Kuzmenko to feel comfortable speaking there language in. Its too bad something better wasn’t set up to accommodate a young Russian man before Tryamkin arrived. im hopeful he gets a better opportunity, it especially helps that Gonchar is here.. hats off to this management group for filling a void needed in many ways, and so much better than having Willy Disneyland as your Coach.
  10. I think he is attached to Vancouver, man’s now with a few good other Russian on the team , I think the transition here might be worth his gamble and ours on a single year show me contract. think he signs a 1.5 - 2.5 one year contract to get in a fold that should have been here for him in the beginning. I hope Gonchar is able to talk to him,. Between him and Foote.. they could Help Nik become the player he wants to be.
  11. If that’s the problem then the Team should put him on LTIR . This player has been given enough chances to regain a form that acquires 6.5 m .. did we not learn anything from LE.
  12. Yes, I think 3 points if he’s with EP and Kuz
  13. Tryamkin can swap sides, and is comfortable doing that.. that helps.
  14. What rule says he is not eligible? what dates are involved? If E Kane came sign as a free agent in Feb. What rule says a Free Agent can’t sign before the NHL playoffs, which is when the playoff roster comes into play.? Just trying to figure it out.
  15. Why not have both Try and Livingstone both here on their perceived short term contracts (1 year) and Schenn. This shouldn’t be a cap issue between the 3 , Tryamkin can play both sides. Just saying.
  16. Your arguments now are starting to sound most similar to ..
  17. .. hey you and @Dazzle are up past your bedtime.. put your Pokémon cards away and turn out the light !
  18. My opinion.. Keeping Miller is less about points to me , and more about Management wanting to keep the right vigilant identity in the room and reflecting on the Team .. a vet presence that helps players identify the Cultural Identity this org wants to project. Being “Strong and Silent “ does not work to bring a championship team to its conquest in this Sport.. Horvat was that. Miller is a passionate, emotional player, And that is a positive step the change needed here.. add the fact he is fearless, physical and a point per game player.. thats why he’s here. His value won’t diminish too badly over 3 seasons and we can trade him if we aren’t in the playoffs, and keep him if we are.
  19. I think it all started to go wrong last season, I can not, and could not believe T Hertyl signed an 8.2 x 8 ! His years weren’t that impressive.. his preceding 4 years are aprx .75 ppg .. no real breakout year , perhaps a .9ppg peak 2 years ago. But San Jose was hard pressed to keep him, and needing capspace to facilitate it. He signed the extension during the regular season last year,. Right after the Sharks were able to clear EKane off their books. .. the San Jose Manager Doug Wilson was sick at the time all of this was going on, and I think the Assistant GM was calling the shots. .. as the rumour was Hertyl was rushing the situation and threatening to be traded.
