  1. Thank the League for “how to build” an expansion team.
  2. If this is true, I have to appreciate how quiet management has been until this rumour came out…
  3. He’d be a great asset on a “show me “ contract with Bear on LTIR , and now possibly OEL bought out.
  4. Perhaps Making room for movement at least .. July 1st will be interesting. (that’s when NT could officially sign) Eyes on the RFA / UFA board ladies & gents.
  5. This would make July 1st very interesting..
  6. He had a good season on a so so team.. no one said he was slacking or playing disgruntled. He asked for a trade before RFA , and it’s his right to.
  7. I’m trying to think of anyone in the NHL who has “killed a culture” of an organization? Why do we consider a player who asks for a trade , to be catagorized that? perhaps the player dosent like that teams culture when they ask to leave. Hasnt our “culture “ here killed our game for te last 12 years? What is , or has been a culture here, has openly discussed to be changed by this management group .
  8. YES,. definetley see the potential in his game.
  9. Well, I think your rather judgemental of a 21 year old, leaving a country run by a dictator and terrorist . Were you ever 21? never mind , stay loaded.. enjoy your trip.
  10. Yes , that’s where he was living , most do untill they get a solid contract with some length to it. It’s a building Aqualini owns and operates I beleive. He said nothing bad about Vancouver , he was explaining a culture here, something he was entirely unfamiliar with.. your going off an interpretation from Malamud perhaps. again this is from that interview with Eronko: From the interview with Igor Eronko : Continued… I’d caution against lighting the torches and fashioning pitchforks. Eronko, who unlike Malamud has a great reputation for fair andbalanced reporting, translates Tryamkin’scomments and provides the context in which they were made. Eronko even told mepersonally that there was no malice.
  11. That’s a lifestyle? or being set up to live in a seedy , drug infested, part of the city where crime rate is high, and people living on the sidewalks. He was stating facts. Weed stinks. As a professional athlete, what do you want him to say ? ” I really like the smell of drugs” . anyone who keeps regurgitating this “hated the city” crap should go live under the Georgia street viaduct for a week . He was living above the Casino beside Rogers Place. if that’s your life style, you’ll love it. as far as loyalty goes, 3 years ago while he was still Canuck property he was waiting for a contract , almost anything from Benning, but Benning did not, could not make cap room for him. The real issue was Coaching and Management did not set a 21 year old up properly for his introduction to North America.
  12. If room like this happens, honestly , signing Tryamkin to a 1 year “show me” for up to 1.5 will be a good move.
  13. I do think Dman Petersson is closer to playing NHL hockey than what we think,. I hope he is invited to main camp.
  14. This is the direction I thought we should have taken with LE… he would have quit. .. terminated his contract. If a guy isn’t building your house up to the terms of the contract between you, you don’t pay him for just showing up.
  15. Wonder what he thinks he should get paid if he signs here again ? Hopefully that came up in his “meeting” too. Hopefully that makes it palatable for Alvin.
  16. I also think it’s a question for teams when they go to draft a player.. Honesty helps everybody.. nobody gets short changed.. it’s actually a question for the Blackhawks to ask Bedard. At least they can prepare for the situation before it happens.. even if they pick him.
  17. Being a good player as an RFA is perhaps the first and only time a player gets to have some control over his destiny. If your lucky to last to UFA , is your last. I have no problem with this .
  18. Honestly Agent , I just want to see us chipping away at the Cap. We have forwards about to make the push to the main roster, Klimo, Podz Hogz and others need that open or rotational position to get valuable ice time. It’s the same situation ( appart from Boesers points) as we had LE . we positionally become stagnant , and Valuable time / and an opening needs to be made for a bright crop . Historically , a “4th” line would accommodate farm club progression, but these days a solid physical fore checking line is so very strategic in todays game. Boeser I think has a better chance of his game getting to 30-40 goals per with a club like the Rangers, and I think they realize that. IF , we could pry a Braden Schneider 21 yrs RHD with a move as well, would be more favourable to our needs. but I realize that’s a long shot. but, it is hockey lol.
  19. Just an FYI .. this is getting a bit of traction on Twitter.. I’d rather see Boeser go, perhaps we retain and or add a sweetener. I think Hogz will be pushing someone out this season, I’d like to keep him.
