  1. That's pretty sad. Or, as the ignorant selfish jackasses would say, "D'uh, it's jist like a flu, he wuz probly dying alredy. Everbudy i no has alredy had it and wants the restricshuns ended rite now."
  2. Great effort by Lockwood. Or as the play by play guy described it, "it came loose to Rempal".
  3. Given the circumstances, ie: the pandemic and the nature of her job, I would be willing to bet that her lawyers were not willing to take this case on a straight contingency fee. If she had a serious chance of winning anything more than perhaps a token one dollar in damages, they would, but lawyers have a strong aversion to tilting at windmills for free.
  4. You obviously don't work in healthcare, or know anything at all about it. And the "fact" that everybody you know has had Covid makes it clear what you are, because that is not the experience that decent civilized people have had. You have made yourself an object of revulsion on this forum. Was this a conscious decision on your part, or is that just the way you are?
  5. From your post, evidently nobody at all dies from Omicron, and it is the very last variant of Covid; the virus has stopped mutating. Could you please show us where you found this information? I would think that people will be dancing in the streets if you are correct.
  6. Not exactly the same. An anti-vaxing anti-masking Covid denier could very easily cause the deaths of more innocent people than any but the most prolific of serial killers. And not give a damn. D'uh, it's just a flu, I'm sure they were already dying anyways, right? /s
  7. Erecting straw men, ie: fabricating words to put in other peoples mouths as you have done here, shows a lack of honesty on your part. And not for the first time. I would suggest that you stop doing it, but you evidently believe that being dishonest is your inalienable right, and that you think you are so clever that nobody notices.
  8. While I know many people who have had Covid, some of whom were already vaccinated, they are still definitely in the minority. If what you say is true, I can only assume that you and your friends are anti-vaxers. Because most of my friends have been vaxed, and those who have (knowingly) had Covid are distinctly in the minority (at least so far). Is it your belief that the majority of the 38 million Canadians have had Covid?
  9. Yeah, surprise, surprise. One of our prospects is doing very well, so Fred looks for some pretext to crap on the team.
  10. Facts won't get you very far debating with posters like Filth. The ignore button would be more useful.
  11. Exactly. If you combine the injury/strength training issue with no playing for over 7 months, just how long would a reasonable person expect a player to take to get back to mid-season form? I would expect a minimum of at least half a season.
  12. Pretty well any player you would want on your team would say the same thing. What else are they going to say, "Yeah, I'm salivating to get that signing bonus in my hands, but I'm going to go through the motions pretending I care about my teammates here until my season is over." ?
  13. I think they can sign a contract any time, but as soon as they do, their NCAA careers are over.
  14. Are you being willfully obtuse? This variant is about 3 weeks old. You are really unaware that mild symptoms are no guarantee with respect to long term effects? Believe whatever you want; if you really think it's a good idea to get covid now, go for it.
  15. The point is that you do not need to be on death's door to suffer after effects bad enough to prevent you from playing hockey and to negatively affect your life. Ask Sutter about that.
  16. Do you think Sutter or anyone else who has been negatively affected by Covid would agree with this? I don't.
  17. If you are going to crap all over a Canuck player/prospect with some claim about poor character, either include a link to whatever "source" you have, or go back under your bridge and share your crap with your hairy smelly disgusting brethren. When you spout this kind of nonsense without any actual evidence of Klim's alleged bad temper, you are just making it blatantly obvious what you are.
  18. However, although they don't get a plus for a goal scored on the PP, or a minus for a goal against on the PK, they do get a plus for scoring a shorthanded goal and a minus when they allow one.
  19. OMG, I hope he didn't stick his nose into CDC out of boredom and read what the "realistic fans" have been spouting about him over the last few months. Thinking that the people you are playing for consider you to be greedy, selfish and lazy, and want to get rid of you, would kill anyone's enthusiasm.
  20. Another great game. We are getting spoiled this year. So far we are the only fans to be treated to OT and shootouts every game, with one come-from-behind point and one win, both on the road and both after having to sit through the oppositions' home opener ceremonies. Awesome entertainment so far this year - love it! And yet we still get to read all the drivel from the "realistic fans" who are dedicated to fabricating pretexts to crap all over members of the team and organization. Including a ridiculous long drawn out discussion with a clown who chooses not to understand the uses of timeouts and is determined to impose his ignorance on the rest of us ad nauseam. Ah well, at least the unbeaten-in-regulation streak is keeping most of the trolls under their bridges, waiting and hoping for a loss, while we fans cheer on the team. Go Canucks go!
  21. Those who think that Podz is upset with his icetime in his first 2 NHL games evidently are not aware of his introduction to the KHL. In his first 10 KHL games he averaged just over 3 minutes of icetime, including 3 games when he got less than one minute. Yeah, I'm going to have to go along with "stoked".
  22. You mean like when Podz made that beautiful long breakaway pass that Petey couldn't quite finish?
  23. I think you can sign an NCAA player any time you want, but as soon as you do so, his NCAA career is over.
  24. Anything is possible, but while Podz is kind of a long shot for the Calder, Bones is not even in the top 20.
  25. Sure. And the girls you do meet all tell you that they are lesbians, right? Imagine our surprise.
