1 all star game is deffiently not out of the question for Russel. If he was a Laker I'd gaurentee atleast 1 but it will be a bit harder for him to earn it as a Net. #2 pick in a very deep draft.. why can't Ball be the face of the Lakers. He has a grudge against KD who has his thing going in Golden State, and LBJ has his thing going in Clevand and wherever he goes. RW has 2 options: 1. Stay in OKC averaging a triple double for most of his career and lose because he is the team. 1 on 5 will never win a championship and KD will get the last laugh every time. 2. Go to the Lakers and join George and Ball with very good young depth that has bought into Waltons team game style of play. The bench alone would dominate the Warriors and Cavaliers bench and all our superstar talent starting 5 will have to do is keep pace with the Warriors and Cavaliers starters. He will have a team capable of beating KD and he will win championships. If I'm RW I'm joining the Lakers. I'd put $100 he signs next Offseason if Ball and George are here.

How is a team with PG and RW a rebuilding team? Ball should be an instant success with his playmaking, his shooting may take a bit but his high basketball IQ will deffiently be good for players like Westbrook and PG. Ball, Westbrook, Ingram, and George are all good 3 point shooters, though Ball and Ingram may take a little bit to get the consistency you can see Magic is trying to give Walton a Warrior like team. It's no longer a 1 man game, to win today you need a team full of 3 point shooters that isn't scared to let a team mate take a big shot. I'm going to be watching a lot more Laker games if they draft Ball and trade for George! Oh and I didn't say Russel is a stud I said he will be.. and he will make an all star game

I was kind of sour at first because Russel will be a stud, but look at the facts. In order to get PG and Russel Westbrook or dare I say LBJ we had to get rid of that Mozgov contract. I was really pulling for Russel, but Ball is the far superior point guard so not a huge loss. Lopez is set to make 22M next year but that contract is set to expire and will free up enough cap to put us in a position to get PG and 1 of the other 2... Hopefully Westbrook, let LBJ join the Spurs. If I'm Johnson I'm offering the 27th and 28th pick and Deng as a cap dump to get PG now. Having PG here now let's Westbrook see what he will be joining if he decides to come here to beat KD. Imagine this lineup in 2 years. as a Kobe fan I don't want LBJ here. Let him make his legacy elsewhere. I'm an LBJ hater as I'm sure many Kobe fans are. Buffalo needs a veteran LHD imo. How about Edler+Baertschi+3rd for Reinhart. Trade Tanev for Drouin. Draft Makar. Drouin Horvat Boeser Virtanen Reinhart Granlund Sedin Sedin Goldobin Molino Sutter Eriksson Hutton Gudbranson Juolevi Stecher Pedan Sbisa/Biega/Subban Markstrom/Miller Bachman/Markstrom Good shot at drafting Dahlen next year as well. We would be an exciting team to watch but the inexperienced D will most likely cause us to fall to a bottom 10 finish once again, but we will be good once the young guys get 2-3 years under their belt and Demko finally makes the jump. I'm not going to complain about bottom 10 finishes for the next year or 2 as long as the young guys are playing and we're playing exciting uptempo hockey again.

I'll be devastated if he comes back to the NHL in a different Jersey. The kid is a future star In a way I agree with JB though. He didn't earn no 4-5 mill yet and if he gave him the $ he wanted it would make it hard when it came to signing Baertschi, Granlund, Hutton, etc

reading up on Sidney jones and reading how he is arguably the bes CB in the class has me excited. what do you guys think of it? is there argument for him being a true #1CB?
