I have really high hopes for the Eagles this year. if Latimore falls we take him over a RB and pray cook falls to us in round 2.. if this happens the NFL better watch out this is my dream scenario and take us over the top most likely Lattimore is draft and we choose Mcaffrey over cook at 14 which I'm also ok with but that would leave a huge whole to fill in CB Eagles were dominant until Johnson got suspended, remember the blowout against the Steelers? a very early bye week and our top offensive lineman out for 10 games really screwed our momentum. don't forget Wentz had probably the worst receiving core in the NFL and still looked like a star and without Johnson only had very limited time to get the ball off before he got hit. he wasn't in a good spot most of last year and now he has 3 solid receivers and a true #1 in Jeffrey, Johnson is back and will only give Wentz more time to pass and scan the field. I honestly believe we will be a top 5 offensive team this year, especially if we get one of Mcaffrey/Cook. and don't forget about our solid defence. it was solid last year and it looks better up front but we lack a CB. the player we acquired ffrom the Ravens is Solid and Jim has said he has big plans for him which is encouraging news as an Eagles fan. we get Lattimore at 14 we are laughing, we already had a solid D and if it gets better this offseason on top of our vastly improved offence we can and very likely will play for the Super Bowl Wentz vs Brady for the super bowl. now that could be fun Wentz wanting to erase our memory of 2004 when I sadly watched our Eagles lose in a game I really thought they were going to win. I want that rematch so bad before Brady retires. Is there any division other than ours with 3 capable Super bowl Champs? the Cowboys and Giants have great teams too, but I think our aggressive D will help us beat them. I'm predicting we go 1-1 vs the Cowboys, 2-0 against the Giants, 2-0 against the Redskins. also predicting a 13/14 win season.. like I said, very high hopes GO EAGLES GO!!!

@Chip Kelly who are you hoping the Eagles get with their 1st? I'm hoping for Mcaffrey or Lattimore, wouldn't mind taking a gamble on cook either, he looks better than Mcaffrey but can we look past his incident?

JB wouldn't move Tanev for anything short of a sure thing. We're talking Nylander/Ehlers type of sure thing If Tanev gets traded for anything less than a top 10 pick and/or top prospect I will cheer for the Bruins from then on Burrows got Dahlen Hansen got Goldobin Tanev gets a late first in a weak draft? JB respects players too much too much to just dump them for maybes. Take the Hamhuis situation for example, JB knew Hammer meant more to the team than the low ball offers they were getting on him so he kept him around and let Hamhuis finish out his final year. As long as he plays atleast half as good as he is now. He averages a goal every 2 games right now!! I honestly see 40G potential. He's going to be our Ovi!!

I just checked their roster and dam they look tough. I can't see us getting to 6 games with them. Atleast I get to watch Brisbois and Neil! Also I thought Sprong was playing for the Pens already?

Any chance he meets the Eagles in the next round? Edit: I checked and I think the only possible outcomes is the Eagles playing Ryoun noranda, shawinigan, or blainville. Any prospects to watch on those teams for the upcoming drafts or Canuck prospects?

McEwen is HUGE. He scored 2 goals today and could have scored 3 or 4 more. Everytime he touched the puck our fans were nervous. I'm not a big fan of overagers but I have a great feeling about this kid. Few years away but he will make a great 4th liner some day

Tanev is a solid #2 on any team in the NHL, if your saying Juolevi is better in all these aspects now while claiming he is also Tanev like defensively (which I agree with 100%) why are you scared to put that #1 Dman expectation on him? Sure he doesn't score like Karlsson, Doughty, Subban, and other offensive #1 Dmen in the NHL but he will get points probably a lot of assists when hitting the tapes of the likes of our young snipers in a few years, could turn out to be an assist machine and maybe outscore Karlsson someday. I'm not guaranteeing anything but my expectations on him is to be our true #1 of the future. Juolevi Stecher Tryamkin Gudbranson Hutton Tanev Juolevi will become an elite playmaker with a solid shot and defensive game. He won't make too many mistakes because he has very high hockey IQ. There may be a rough patch here and there in his first couple seasons but he will become a very good NHL defenceman.

Just imagine those breakout passes going to Boeser, Dahlen, Goldobin, Virtanen, and a lot of the younger guys in 2-3 years. I can't wait!

Yea but I'm so excited to see him I want him rushed lol. That's probably why I'll never make millions to manage a hockey team
