  1. I swear I saw him eating meatball subs at subway! WHY WOULD I LIE!!??
  2. Don't forget he's also got a great wrister.
  3. I picked him last in my fantasy draft.
  4. I was clearly stating that "I" am not being condescending.
  5. Love Gudbranson. Only one type of player gets to wear that number: big, scary, and know how to use their size to make themselves known to their opponents.
  6. As my point with Vrbata, does one down season mean his career is over? Yak and Tera are both going on their 5th year, while Jake is going into his third. Nobody makes a sound average out of two data points, that's absurd.
  7. 100% agree. Taking his CORSI, Fenwick, and PDO into account will give you perspective on the other elements of his game.
  8. Bieksa didn't crack the NHL till he was 26. Even what I just said is completely irrelevant, just like your comment.
  9. Tera - .163 g/gp Yak - .181 g/gp Tera - .44 p/gp Yak - .41p/gp Tera - upward trend year over year. Yak - downward trend year over year. Yup it still works. What are the chances, using stats tells a story! Welcome to the new age where people use stats in different ways, put them together, and come up with a new way to analyze players. You can feel free to use the old "looks good to me so must be good" ways. To your logic, anytime a player has a down year then that means they are done. Don't bother looking back at stats from previous seasons because they don't matter right? Vrbata had 27 points in 15-16, followed by 55 points in 16-17. I think by now you realize that you are being silly. Stats are used for a reason and can be used in different ways to get to an answer. P.S. they were drafted in 2012, but hey who cares about years because numbers don't matter
  10. For a fwd that is supposed to score goals, yes. Especially when you use division (g/gp).
  11. This is definitely the wrong place for that comment.
  12. Exactly. Lind is a steal where we got him and he is going to prove to be a great player for us.

  14. Haha I agree, I just think it's funny to say he likes to eat meatball subs.
  15. Pfft he isn't even lifting it over his head. Maybe dangle a meatball sub above his head and he will show you what he can really do! I honestly think for Virtanen it's a coaching issue. If they would reward his good performances with Subway gift cards so that he could get his meatball fix, he'd score 40 goals a season!
