To your logic, anytime a player has a down year then that means they are done. Don't bother looking back at stats from previous seasons because they don't matter right? Vrbata had 27 points in 15-16, followed by 55 points in 16-17.
I think by now you realize that you are being silly. Stats are used for a reason and can be used in different ways to get to an answer.
