This forum has been my home since 2003. I don’t even remember what my old username used to be because I’ve used this one for the better part of the last decade.
This place is like a big disfunctional family. But it was our big disfunctional family. It’s the end of an era. This place, and especially it’s people, will be missed.
The other moderators and I are going to continue at the new forum that Stealth made at: https://www.forumcanucks.com/
We hope to see you all there.

Fire Green before looking to trade any core players. This is a much better team on paper than coaching is getting out of them. If Benning won’t fire Green then fire him too.
Green is not the coach to get this team to the next level, and if management can’t see that then they need to move on as well.
Enough wasting time. Get it done.

@Pears I agree that Aquilini probably won’t fire either of them. At least not anytime soon, which is a damn shame. When will the pressure be enough for them to bite the bullet and think more about the fans and less about their operations costs? There’s gotta be a tipping point there somewhere.
@Zhukini I was willing to be patient during the rebuild, but 8 years is pushing it. I know it takes time, but dammit man. I can’t take it anymore. This city deserves a team that’s at least respectable ffs.

It takes time if you're patient and the rebuild is done well. When you do what the Canucks have done and try to half ass rebuild half ass fill out your roster, you're on year 8 looking on 8 more.
Jim never had a long term vision. He just didn't. And you can't be hitting 50% on top 6 picks for someone who was claimed to be a drafting genius.
