    This forum has been my home since 2003. I don’t even remember what my old username used to be because I’ve used this one for the better part of the last decade.
     

    This place is like a big disfunctional family. But it was our big disfunctional family. It’s the end of an era. This place, and especially it’s people, will be missed.

    Congratulations to Quinn Hughes who has really stepped up into that leadership role this last season. Unlike some others on the various social medias, I don’t take this as a sign that Petey has one foot out the door. He said he didn’t know if he wanted to be Captain, and that’s fine. Not everyone wants that responsibility. I also just want to say kudos to the marketing team for including every Canucks Captain in the background of this graphic EXCEPT for that POS Messier. Well done.

    I agree with this. Let the players decide who they feel leads this team. This is how it should be done. Not used as a marketing ploy, or as an incentive for players to stay or sign long-term contracts.

    Didn’t seem like so much of a question as you putting words in my mouth and adding a question mark. I’ve been around these boards for a long time in one iteration or another, and I’ve learned who I can have a discussion with and who just wants to argue.
