That Konecny chicken shit play really boiled my blood. If I saw shit like that when I was on the ice we were having a scrap, no question.

He should have been first. Not an afterthought. He had already taken his hometown discount on the last contract. After all he’s done for the team I don’t blame them lowballing him putting a bad taste in his mouth. Management switched gears and signed Miller and gambled on getting a deal done with Bo mid season, but after the season he’s had that worked against management and they were forced to trade him. Now revisionists and pro management types want to say that was always the plan.

It’s not even a goon most of the time. It’s like who’s ever is closest after seeing a clean hit feels like they have to fight the guy. I don’t get it. Hockey has lost it’s way.

I really hate fights after a clean hit. Hitting is a part of the game. I’m all for fighting in Hockey. Fighting was a big part of my game when I played. But fighting should be a result of a dirty play or a heated battle. Fighting someone after they delivered a legal check is chicken shit.
