  1. I have not been here that much, but still follow the Canucks. I don't think Benning lost Markstrom, he did not offer a long enough term, Benning was swayed by what he had with Demko. Getting Holtby was very lucky; Tanev was a similar decision, Benning wanted a shorter term and Tanev took the best offer.Stecher is sort of a sad case but i guess Hockey requirements can be brutal. What Benning can do is use his upcoming young players, and send Erikssen to Utica?
  2. Congrats to the Canucks for bringing the best they had...well done, and I found out what an excellent talented goalie emerged in Demko.
  3. Jordan Peterson- a Canadian professor of psychology at the University of Toronto says "you see what you aim at", I am suggesting there is a psychology to winning, it may be worth looking at on a team basis.
  4. Question: any opinion on Defenceman Brogan Rafferty what is his possibility playing for the Canucks? on the NHL team
  5. So how do you pick a good coach? maybe looking at a coach's record, experience in the NHL, or maybe other hockey leagues. Maybe there should be scouting for coaches too.
  6. I agree with this assessment, Is being a Canuck's fan agreeing with everything coaching does? I don't believe coach Green will change his coaching style, so look forward to the same results. Markstrom's injury is a factor, not looking forward to another new season with coach Green.
  7. Vancouver, BC - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has recalled defencemen Guillaume Brisebois and Jalen Chatfield from the Comets under emergency conditions. Justin Bailey has been reassigned. Brisebois, 22, has played 47 games with Utica this season, registering 4 goals, 11 assists and a +21 plus/minus rating. In 2018.19 he played 8 games with the Canucks and 49 games with Utica recording 11 points (3-8-11) and 22 penalty minutes. Chatfield, 23, has appeared in 46 games with Utica this season, registering 4 assists and accumulating 16 penalty minutes. He spent the 2018.19 season with the Comets, recording 6 points (0-6-6) in 34 games. Bailey, 24, has appeared in two games with the Canucks and 49 games with Utica (27-18-45) this season. The Buffalo, New York Native has played in 65 NHL games, accumulating nine points (5-4-9) and 10 penalty minute
  8. Look at the positives... no wretched feelings from losing the Stanley Cup, and tank nation on!, and maybe some major changes coming.
  9. Bye, Bye Miss American pie....I drove my Chevy to the levi, but the levi was dry.....
  10. Most likely the performance assessment will come at the end of this season.
  11. True! Coach Green is still here and coaching, it's all good.
  12. I wonder if Gerard Gallant would be a good coach, if a change of coaches is a possibility.
  13. The Canucks are in a tough play to the finish, when you look at the teams they go up against in these last 18, if the Canucks loose this game, the playoffs are not happening for this team
  14. This game will show what the Canucks are made of, and where they are in the league.
  15. Congrats to Canucks, finally beat those habitants!
  16. That is a strange way to nail a joist in... but if it works..okly=dokly
  17. I hope Mr. Benning does not go out and get a zombie for the play off push, better to build the team from within, sure make trades that make sense for the long run.
  18. That was a beauty! and the Hughes shot also..all the Canuck's goals were good
