Me too, what happened to having an intellectual conversation and trying figuring out the best solution to a problem?  It seems like whenever someone is faced with an opposing opinion someone's default response is either "you're cancelled" or "OK Boomer".  Like c'mon man, don't you have some actual opinions, or some sort of substance to add to this issue/conversation?  People need to start becoming more critical and freethinkers then trying to fit in with the popular opinion.

  2. Man, I used to love Robbi Fabbri's game. Its a shame that his knees haven't been able to hold up. You best believe that if Fabbri finds his game, ya boy will be picking up a Wings Jersey with his name on it. Fabbri on the back of a Wings jersey just fits to me.
  3. @Chip Kelly Will Dissly is out for the year unfortunately. Luke Willson isn't a bad back up, and Jacob Hollister is coming off a big week. We catch a break playing the niners without Kwon, and get our own defensive boost with Quandre Diggs coming into the lineup.
  4. As soon as Politano comes on as the final substitute he gets spiked in the ankle and can barely move the rest of the match. Y'all are lowkey kinda dirty.
  5. I'm from the LBC And I don't know what y'all done heard about me But I'm a C-R-I-P with some P-I-M-P too I'm a real pimp player from the 213 crew Now look here boo If you gonna bang or hang with the Dogg You best to get in Holla at her Nate Dogg One of my favourite songs.
  6. I have made it a priority the last year to make sure I let a lot of my good friends (both guys and girls) know that I love them. I am a straight male and a large demographic of my friends come from a group that aren't typically receptive to that sort of affection from a male friend.

At first, many thought it was strange, but the more I said it, the more they became receptive too it. The more they became open with their feelings with me. Today, my a good friend of mine couldn't make a phone call for a minor reason. Not a big deal, its life. But he ended up saying how much he appreciates me as a friend and that he loved me.

Honestly idk why I made this post, but him saying that made my night. I recommend trying it out. It could change relationships.

Good on you, for taking the lead with something so basic but often not done until it's too late.  It's a wonderful thing you've started.

It really shows how, on a larger scale, that stuff spreads.  That, by being kind and sharing love that others are inclined to follow.  Rather than all the negative stuff we tend to absorb on a daily basis.

I love this post.  I have learned to do the same with family ... having both parents with cancer at the same time taught me not to take anything for granted.

Haha, along those lines my ex is very "straight"...uncomfortably so.  So the first time our daughter's b/f reached in to give him a hug it was sort of a "what are you doing, man??!" moment.  Now they hug every time we're all leaving an event.

Reading this is a great way to start the day, thank you.

i have love ones that i wish now that i had said i love you more often when they were alive. it can be tough. telling my son and grandson i love them, when they got older felt awkward and they seemed a little uncomfortable with it. i never say that to friends but if you and them feel comfortable, great.

  7. He is a Mass native, so in theory he could have taken classes in the spring and summer in order to accelerate his degree. I am simply speculating.
  8. Russ is having a historic season.
  9. Tough when your best player feels betrayed by the management team. The team has quit on Gase.
  10. Josh Gordon to the Seahawks. When we run the ball, we have Chris Carson and Rashad Penny with a little Russell Wilson keeper sprinkled in. When Russ throws the ball, we have DK Metcalf, Josh Gordon, and Tyler Lockett catching the passes. I am content
  11. Will Lockwood Pros - Speed - Very good hands - Can and is willing to play special teams - Strong Work ethic - Leadership skills - Plays with an edge I see his floor as a tyler motte. 100% worth a contract, especially given who we have given contracts to in recent years.
  12. Just floating this out there because I have seen a lot of people discussing which goaltender we should protect in the expansion draft. Why not both? Offer a pick and an asset (maybe Kole Lind?) in order to keep Marky and Demmer. Just my view on things

      you are wrong wellwood

that only applies to restricted free agents

how can nucks get credit in expansion for a player they have no control over

an ufa is a player they have no control over

      go review the rules

    3. Where's Wellwood

      Where's Wellwood

      @coastal.view https://www.espn.com/blog/nhl/post/_/id/43125/rumblings-las-vegas-will-get-a-head-start-on-free-agency

It says, "Vegas organization will have a 48-hour window ahead of the expansion draft in June to speak with and sign any pending unrestricted or restricted free agents whom the 30 teams left unprotected for the expansion draft." "If any of the 30 teams loses a free agent to Vegas during this 48-hour window, it no longer can lose anyone in the expansion draft. In other words, that free agent lost counts as the one player lost in the expansion draft."

As proof Vegas took Deryk Engelland from Calgary in their expansion draft. He was a pending UFA that summer. https://www.capfriendly.com/players/deryk-engelland Calgary didn't lose anyone else.

Seattle will have the same rules as Vegas.

      i am wrong

not sure though why a team gets credit for a player it has no control over

      thanks for the correction

but i believe an unsigned markstrom

does not count as a nuck goalie exposure for expansion purposes

they still have to expose a goalie

so if seattle does not sign an ufa markstrom

who would the nucks expose for that draft?

  13. Been there. It's fine. I still prefer picking up a Pizza from Brooklyn on Fraser and Kingsway. I also recommend AJ's Pizza on broadway. They make a Sicilian Style, upside down slice (Sugo on top). Absolutely fantastic if you are looking for something different Trilussa on Main and 30 something used to be fantastic. They changed ownership and are still good, not the same though. They are a more Roman style On the subject of Pizza, I am a firm believer in getting pizza from a shop like one of these for the simple fact that you are supporting local business that know their **** and use the best ingredients. You can taste the difference and it is 100% worth the 2 or 3 dollars more that you might pay. Hell, when I call into Brooklyn or AJ's (which are both in my neighbourhood) I always get a deal. Obviously you need to build that rapport, but still. Also. Thin crust is always better (unless you are in sicily or at nonna's house). The fewer the toppings the better. Thea more crazy a pizza is from a topping standpoint, the more they are trying to compensate for something. At an Italian restaurant, if the chef can't make a Pasta a pomodoro well, then you shouldn't be eating there. With pizza, if the pizzeria can't make a margherita well, you shouldn't be eating there
  14. The thing is I am going to the Euro cup and will be watching my beloved Azzurri play. Its a bucket list thing for me, but I mean so is seeing the Canucks win the stanley cup.
  15. It would be just my luck if we go that far. I am going to Europe in June. I swear to god if we are still playing then I am going to be both insanely happy, but also devastated
  16. Honestly, I am so confident in this team making the playoffs. It is insane to me that we are scoring at this rate without Boes and Petey really getting going from a goal scoring perspective. They are at around a 25 goal pace, I think that number will be closer to 30-35+
  17. Marquise Blair is going to get fined so many times in his career. Dude plays at 100 miles an hour all the time and hits like a train. Im pretty sure he almost put Calvin Ridley is a stretcher a couple times today. He is a tone setter
  18. The Clippers are so well balanced its not even funny. There is no weakness on their roster and the strength of their team lies within their defense. Plus they have the best player in the world. They are a throwback team, not subjecting to the trends of the modern NBA. I hope for the sake of the sport they win the Ship. Fantastic brand of basketball. Also for the sake of Kawhi's legacy, I hope they do too. Imagine Kawhi winning 3 rings on 3 different teams in the "lebron" era. Still won't get the respect he deserves. Watch out for Matisse Thybulle. Dude is going to be an all NBA defender
  19. There is a reason why running QB's dont win super bowls. There is a reason why QBs who win Major Bowls, Conferences, and Playoff games in college win superbowls. Its not detriment to him as an athlete, hes just not good enough in pocket and doesn't have the touch on his trows to win one based of my observations. Nor does he have the collegiate success (which has historically been vital in determining SB winning QB's). And to be clear, I am not just some joe who is talking out his ass. Fun players aren't necessarily winning players And to be clear. you believe that either Russell Wilson is overrated or Lamar Jackson is a better QB than him? So Russ has been compared to Luck, Cam, and now Lamar Jackson in the last 12 months? All three times people have said he is overrated or that he isn't as good as them. Common man. Get with the program
  20. I agree that the last 2 were bad decisions. 2nd and 3rd ones I will argue are not on him
  21. Jets OL performance has been the bigger story. Gase is the most inconsistent play caller in football too. He can look fantastic one week, and look like Tee Martin the next. This game isn't on Darnold.
