  1. SHE just postponed it till next Tuesday. THANK YOU CUBBIES FLY THE W
  2. No but prof is a cubs fan and it is a course about sports so.......
  3. midterm in 9 hours worth 20% of my grade. Im sure my prof will understand, and postpone right?
  4. Its moments like that reaffirms my love for love the game of baseball. I have been rooting for the cubs all postseason long, but can you really ask for more in a game 7? For the players, this is something you dream about. To have a chance to walk off the world series at home. Or if the cubs manage to score a run or two, to close out the world series in the bottom of the ninth. I damn nervous just thinking about it, the players must be ******* their pants.
  5. Even the garbage teams have talent and are capable of knocking off a powerhouse in the conference. Look at Oregon St. and Arizona this year each team lost had 1 possession loses against 2 top 25 teams. I would disagree with you on your rankings of the P5. Switch the BIG 10 and BIG 12. The Big 10 is a very good conference, and quite honestly as a football fan, one of my favorites to watch. You take away Rutgers and add say Cincinnati, you have arguably the best conference in the nation. The only reason why Maryland and Rutgers were added was to bring more $ into the BIG 10 and to expand the recruiting base for the conference (also Maryland is a premier BB school).
  6. TBH thats dumb. A+M has 1 big win all season. On the road over Auburn. UW has 1 as well but if they win the conference, they should get the spot. Dat SEC bias is real doe
  7. Really? I find that hard to believe.
  8. I respectively disagree. The Pac 12 IMO, is the 3rd best Conference in the NCAA. Last season they sent 10 TEAMS to bowl games. The thing that makes the PAC so unique is that there is so much parity within the league. There is no easy road game. Even the bottom dwellers of the conference have great fans and night games can be brutal in Boulder, Tuscon or Tempe. An undefeated PAC 12 team is in the CFP no doubt about it
  9. Lets say A+M win out, and OSU beats Michigan and proceeds to win the Big 10. Who would get that 4th spot in the CFB playoff? (assuming the 3 others are UW, Bama, and Clemson)
  10. What is your "Dream XI"? Can be purely based on your favorite players, or talent. It is up to you. My dream XI would be in a 4-2-3-1. In net is quite possibly the best goalie of all time, Gianluigi Buffon. Even today he is still capable of making saves that nobody in the world except for him can make. My CB partnership is Baresi and Barzagli. Baresi from what my grandfather has told me and through watching highlights is the best defender of all time. Barzagli is my favorite CB right now and is an easy choice as he does all the little things right. He is the most important piece of the best defense in the world (the BBC, Juve, Italy). At the FB positions are Fabio Grosso and Phillip Lahm. Grosso had incredible stamina and could run up and down the pitch all game. He also scored many clutch goals for the Azzurri. Lahm's vision and IQ are incredible. He does everything well. My two DM are Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo. Gattuso gets Pirlo the ball and gives the side an "edge" while Pirlo is simply a maestro with impeccable passing and vision. At CAM is the one and only Riquelme. I adored his creativity in the final third and he had the ability to make something out of nothing is just such an asset. On the wings are Messi and Garrincha. Both short in stature but made up for it in their incredible attacking flair and vision. Messi IMO is the GOAT. I personally do not see how people can even compare him to CR7. He is just so much better. Up front is the sole Frenchman on my team. Thierry Henry. One of my favorite players of all time and is the reason why I support Arsenal. There are so many other players that I love and respect that didn't make the cut (Totti, Toni, Di Natale, Alexis, Iniesta, Maradona, Roberto Carlos, Nesta, Maldini, Cruyff, Rivaldo, Balo, and more). It is such a tough decision. Would love to hear who would make the cut for you
  11. Marky would look like a sieve behind that D.
  12. I am having a hard time adjusting to University life. Missing my family, not using my time efficiently, not doing as well as I would have liked in my classes, having a hard time sleeping, my a couple of my professors. I wish I took a gap year.
  13. No dman in the league at Guddy's size moves as well as him
  14. Going to see Olli live in November vs the icedogs!
  15. I was going to say. Honey Badger with better hands?
  16. Sorry that combined with Arsenal's performance this morning made me puke. Honestly though him leaving was the arsenal departure that hurt the most
  17. More deserving of a reception like this She said no Robin, she said no, she said no Robin, she said no.
  18. Congratulations Bluejay fans on a solid season. Not the result you were hoping for but the Indians came out and were the better team. As long as you lock up EE you will be pretty good the next couple years. Losing Bautista will be a really good thing for the club, frees up money and rids the team of an egotistical, overrated and cocky player. I sure as hell would not want him on my team. I hope he goes to like Milwaukee or something. An Indian-Cub WS will be fantastic, 2 long suffering fanbases and teams vying for a WS championship which they haven't seen in a LONG time. I am rooting for the Cubs because, unless you are an Indian fan, how can you not. No doubt in my mind the two best teams in the MLB are Cleveland and the Cubs.
  19. I'm not really into games like COD (First Person Shooters), but I am sort of a history buff, and would like to get Battlefield 1. How is the Battlefield as a franchise, and for anyone that has the game, how does it play?
  20. Confession; I kinda think we can win the cup this year
  21. You guys should easily beat Utah. Hell we should have beat them, a couple bad fumbles and decisions from our frosh qb darnold cost us. Can really blame the kid though, he has been getting better with each game.
  22. Agreed. He is a fantastic corner. Top 5 in the league imo
  23. LMAO I just saw this. Juju Smith-Shuster is probably the best receiver to come out of SC since Keyshawn Johnson. The thing about Juju is that he is a COMPLETE football player. In addition to having ridiculous hands and body control, he is probably the best blocking receiver in the country. He will play in the NFL for a long time because of that simple fact. He is a machine. Whoever picks him up in the draft will be getting a baller. I would say that Robert Woods is carving out a pretty good career for himself, not star quality (he never had that athleticism) but you cannot deny that he is a solid 2 or 3 option on a good team. Nelson Agholor is still developing. Out of the 4 that you mentioned he has the most athletic. He is still very young and I am confident that he will be a playmaker for the eagles one day. Heck he is already leaps and bounds better than what he was last year Marquise Lee is the one that hurts the most. I adored him. He was our best player in 2012 and is one of the only reasons why we finished above 500 that year. IMO if we had won a few more games( say finish 8-4 or 9-3) he would have won the Heisman. He was that good. He is in a tough situation in Jacksonville because of his injuries and the play of Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson in front of him. A change of scenery would be perfect for him Mike Williams simply fell victim to not having a good QB in his career. Put him with Brady or Manning. He is a 1k yd receiver with 10 tds a year. I mean Lynn Swann, OJ, and Marcus Allen went to SC but they are all busts,am I right?
