  1. Nice but like others have said Price has this everyday
  2. They're 13th in the league since Bruce took over. That's including a 8-0-1 run and a 6 game win streak. They've been good but they aren't no world beaters even with him running the bench.
  3. The depth where though? On forward when fully healthy yes the depth is there as you'd probably have Lockwood sitting out. There is no depth on Defence though. None. On a playoff team guys like Burroughs, Hunt and Schenn should be fighting for the 6/7th dman spot. You need 5 #4 guys and a fifth dman to have depth. Vancouver does not.
  4. They have the best 5v5 save % in the league. One month isn't a season.
  5. The Canucks defence corps is bottom half in the league, being generous. It doesn't matter which media member says it, not everything needs to be sugarcoated.
  6. Exactly, just hope he doesn't get the 7 year one from us.
  7. That's adding one player though. That to me seems like this roster would be at the exact same position come this time next year. Yes they'd be better with a whole year under Bruce but it just seems like spinning your tires to me
  8. He's a good player, no argument there. Unfortunately in a cap world with so much parity in the league, one bad contract, let alone 2 or 3 or more if you have Benning, really handicaps your team. It's fine if you're a bad team, the good ones that have higher expectations rarely have any. I guess it depends on what the Canucks are trying to get out of the prime years or Hughes and Petey
  9. Sure, give him a 3 year deal. Anything more and you're taking away from this roster.
  10. You also have to realize when a player is having a one off season. JT has NEVER been a 90 point player before, and I'd be willing to bet he doesn't reach that again. Sell as high as you can this offseason.
  11. He should be a 3rd line centre at 33, which is realistically when a cup is realistic. If he's putting up more than 40-50 points by then I'd be surprised
  12. A new Miller contract would abolutely cripple this team. Chances are this team won't win the Cup once they're good enough to go on actual playoff runs. Having Miller eating up so much cap for someone who's likely to regress back to a 40pt guy would limit any chance to improve this roster. It's like some of you don't want the Canucks to win the Cup and just like the 2.5 hour distraction in your day.
  13. The entire Eastern playoff bracket is looking insane right now.
  14. Matthews is ridiculous. I'd like to see him score 10 in a 7 game series and have the leafs bow out in round 1 again. Like others I don't care for Calgary or especially Edmonton (because I want to see how much more losing McDavid will take). Give me the best hockey possible in the Finals. I think thats Carolina - Colorado. You could make a case for Florida instead of the Canes. Also like to see Sid get his 4th.
  15. If they can keep it interesting until game 82, the Oilers will likely rest McDavid and Draisaitl against us. 8 Games left and only 3 are easy.
  16. Dallas and LA won as well. The coffins in the ground, just waiting to be buried if they can’t get 2 here.
  17. If you don't watch Dahlin you wouldn't realize how good he's becoming. He'll be a bonafide #1 by the end of next year and probably a top 3 for the Norris within 3
  18. Wouldn't be against Vegas winning tonight. I'm a sucker for round one of the playoffs and I'd much rather see them than Dallas in there.
  19. Didn't Pronger just put out a series of tweets saying how hard it was for Pro athletes to save their money? You'll see this guy working a 9-5 soon enough.
