  13. If you get it in within an hour I can wait since i have a handful more to create and a last test to do but I want to start tonight
  14. Okay thanks guys that’ll close registration and I’ll hopefully have the first year up late tonight.
  15. @Time Lord @Cramarossa If you two could get your templates in sometime tonight or early tomorrow that'd be perfect thanks
  16. The only thing is Bens best season, as a rookie, he had those chubby cheeks and he was no cardio machine. Somewhere along the line he lost focus and thought the NHL was easy or teams were more prepared for him and he didn't see it coming. Its all well and good that he joined a running club but if his main problem didn't get addressed which I hope it did, I dont think his body fat % is going to save him.
  17. Everything is up to date and the test runs dont have any problems, just waiting on 4 more and then hopefully we can get this going tonight or tomorrow
  18. Both of you are in, we're at 20 spots not but I dont mind opening it up further if there's more interest, but once the remaining have filled out their templates I'd like to get going pretty soon.
  19. @morrissex95 think u forgot the acceleration field for physical, unless you wanted me to leave it at 1? Everyone else who has submitted a template has been created

  21. SKATER TEMPLATE (Max Attribute is 20) Goalie Template I Trade Requests: Sook-Mei Awoff - 1 (TOR) Saul Salo - 1 (VAN)
  22. Intro Welcome to the second installment of CDC Create a Player. Many of you might know what this is, but for the new, this game involves creating a 14 year old player, and following his progression, as he goes through Major Junior, Europe, or College, and hopefully is eventually drafted into the NHL. As mentioned, we will be entering the league as 14/15 year olds, each of us having a potential of -15. In laymans terms, this means you are just as likely to be a star in the NHL, as you are to be a career AHLer. In previous versions, -15 seems to have hit the sweet spot so it is what will be used. To read more about player potential, please visit this link Gameplay I would like to be getting out updates once every couple of days, and maybe more earlier on, as we get track our careers before the draft. The first few updates will be done via text, but I will be providding screenshots of your player to track their career after update 4 or 5. Updates will include yearly performance, draft status, and trades/transactions. If you are unhappy with your current position on the team that has drafted you, you are entitled to TWO trade requests per career, however this is not a guarantee and the choice of teams may be limited. When creating your players remember you are 14, and while height and weight gain isn't massive, it will happen, and in some instances it hasn't happened at all. If you are new, please also note that once you fill out your template, your work is done, all that remains will be for you to track how your career is progressing and how you want to proceed. Feel free to ask for line combinations or info about other teams to determine where your career will be most likely to flourish, and while I will try to accommodate, I can't guarantee the other teams will be interested in your services. Rules - Only one player per particpant - One the game starts no new players may be entered - You can reserve a spot, but please try and fill in the spreadsheet within a couple days of reserving - If your player is struggling and you no longer wish to track them, please let me know, it will result in much less work. General Tips While your player can have any nationality, if you choose somewhere obscure in terms of hockey, and your player is not very good, there is a slim chance you will have an early retirement, as sometimes the player will state that they cannot support themselves financially. If you are new to this series, AVR is another category aside from Goals, Assists and Points, or goalie categories, and is a sliding scale from 0-10. In short, it is an indication of how your player is performing from game to game. As 14 year olds, you can expect to be in the low 6's. The mid 7's can be considered average to above average, and anything above 8.0 is great. 9's and 10's happen, but more on a game by game basis, not as an average throughout the entire season. In most cases that is . Lastly try and have fun and dont worry too hard if your player isn't a superstar, the law of averages means that at least a few of us will be stuck in Europe until we retire!
  23. The Ottawa Senators are buying out centre Frans Nielsen
  24. Congrats Baer, looked like a crazy series! Ottawa has the following on the block Rasmus Ristolainen Josh Bailey Adam Lowry
