    Who do you see stylistic wise as a pro comparison? Is he just a one dimensional sniper or do you see the playmaking and grittiness that make up the more elite diverse bunch in the NHL?

    He’s structuring it for flexibility. I think Willander is still at least 2-3 years. BU is a great place to marinate. Getting these players with short term just allows us to be more creative. Cole is 32 after all. Juulsen for all we know could be his successor.

    As I said no slight on Hamhuis but I think Willander has a higher ceiling offensively. Defensively Hamhuis would be a great outcome.

    If he hits, his ceiling is definitely higher than Hamhuis. And that’s no slight on Hammer. You may see a Pesce/McAvoy/Andersson. Not to mention he models his game after Heiskanen. You can see in his eyes he has the drive to be the best. Very excited to follow his development at BU.

    Hard to acquire and seemingly hold their value if it comes down to a trade. I don’t see an issue. Hronek Willander Brzutewicz Woo Myers ( likely gone soon) juulsen Burroughs Bear McWard Celebrini pretty decent depth. If even one of these picks turns out as a top 4 you’re looking pretty good.

    Garland had like 100 points in the Q. It’s not all about points and flash. Time will tell if Benson is more than that. I am thrilled with Willander personally.

    Takes value to get Value. Hronek fits our timeline, puts up numbers plays a premium position and is right handed. Pellika isn’t that and the high second pick certainly is t that.
