  1. I'm excited he gets a run at the Calder next year!
  2. He'll be the one to make #6 hip for forwards.
  3. Oh Hutton, don't do me like that. That's the Cinderella ending we all deserve.
  4. yes..... well... I look silly. I thought he was 5'10-11 range. at least 180 lbs. Thanks for calling me out. He looks like a promising player none the less.
  5. Yeah I really liked him last year as well. I think his size will hold him back a little where he will never be a true #1 d-man but a very good 2-3 man clearly. We'll see if Charlies game transfers to the bigs like we saw Stecher's.
  6. Totally on board. High upside, and great development route as well. I feel it's not out of the question to think he could be gone in the early 20's of the 1rst round. Especially if shows well at the frozen four. If we can take him with our second I think that's great value for our pick.
  7. Good go watch them. We're talking about 2017 draft prospects here! For Pete sakes shuuuuut uuuuppp Alf
  8. But look at all the grit we have in our d-core. Especially with a healthy Gudbranson.
  9. Your right we should just draft guys who are ranked in the fourth round with our first round pick.
  10. Honestly Skille is probably one of the best fourth liners in the league. Has has the skill, speed, and grit. I've been nothing but impressed with him thus far. I think him matched with Crammy and Gaunce consistently would be a pretty top notch fourth line.
  11. This may sound like a joke to most but one could argue Benning signed Eriksson to be our Hossa. This past year is not a reflection of how much of an asset he will be for us down the road.
  12. That's a great point. However I don't think the Canucks have the d-men for the quick transition game that could afford us to have an abundance of weak skaters. I think Benning wants this new core to all be great skaters and play the 200 foot game as we've seen thus far.
  13. Great insight, Gooseberries. Even getting your skates on is half the battle these days would you agree?
  14. Personally I would have Vancouver choosing in this order: 1) Patrick 2) Hischier 3) CM 4) Vilardi 5) Tippet 6) Valimaki 7) Liljigren 8) Necas 9) Petterson 10) Glass
