  1. Bosz sacked. Official announcement tomorrow. No idea who might be his successor. They might opt for a Bayern-like replacement until the end of the season and then go after Nagelsmann, Hannes Wolf or someone like that. Still, don't see much changing with a new coach except the usual couple of games lasting effect when a new coach comes in. Problem is in the team and the hierarchy within it. Sahin and Schmelzer have the say and are still Klopp players through and through. As long as they are there or have the say in the team, it will be very hard for a new coach to come in and be successful. I want them gone along with Subotic and Schürrle. They don't help us and will continue to hold us back, especially when they want to decide about the team's style of play. Rumours are those two are one of the main reasons that got Tuchel fired. They wanted to play the Klopp way. Tuchel wanted possession football. Big egos clash, idiocy ensues. They've done a lot for us but they are past their primes and they will ruin the club. Watzke unfortunately still seems to hold them in high regards.
  2. To take that even further: this is a statistic which illustrates the quality of shots in a game: Means that all the shots Arsenal fired would usually equate to about 4.6 goals with so to say average finishing. While Man Utds shots would yield only about 1.9 goals. Football is weird sometimes.
  3. Don't know if there's an audience for this here, but as a part time football coach and tactic nerd, I thought this was worth sharing. http://spielverlagerung.com/2017/12/02/interview-with-schalke-head-coach-domenico-tedesco/
  4. All PP goals nonetheless. Something went teribbly wrong there. Edit: Nonetheless was not the word I was looking for
  5. Yes and no. Australia moved to the Asian football confederation a couple of years ago so it is technically seen as a part of Asia.
  6. Canucks to release Rodin from contract ...forward placed on conditional waivers by Canucks Media Relations @Canucks / Vancouver Canucks 5:43 PM Vancouver, BC - Vancouver Canucks General Manager, Jim Benning announced that forward Anton Rodin has been placed on unconditional waivers today for the purpose of being released from his contract. "Anton asked to be released from his contract," said Benning. "We value the skill and depth he adds to our team but ultimately it was important to respect Anton's request to move on." Rodin played seven games with the Utica Comets (1-1-2) this season and was limited to three games as a Canuck last season due to injury. A Stockholm, Sweden native, Rodin was originally drafted by the Canucks 53rd overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. https://www.nhl.com/canucks/news/vancouver-canucks-anton-rodin/c-293175972
  7. Makes him top scorer in the SHL due to more goals scored (9 G, 14 A) than Joakim Lindström (8 G, 15 A).

  14. Well, that's what you get from hiring a pet detective as your manager.
  15. My favourite song at the moment. Found it through a random YT suggestion. Biggest WTF moment I've ever had in music. Also, I think I wanna marry her
  16. On another note: the Dortmund - Bayern match last weekend reminded me a lot of the aforementioned stereotypical Premier League matches. Both teams were awfully unorganised defensively and goal scoring opportunities developed mostly from opponent's mistakes instead of a structured build-up. Where in the past you could see tactical masterclass in Pep vs. Klopp or Pep vs. Tuchel, there was nothing of the sort on Saturday. I hope that changes fast or the tactical superiority of the Bundesliga over the Premier League will be over sooner than I expected.
  17. Wouldn't surprise me if he already did.
  18. Russell Wilson wins Halloween:
  19. Literally every Premier League club has more money to spend from TV money than any other club in Europe with the exceptions of Real, Barca, PSG and maybe Juventus and Bayern. They have the most lucrative TV deal in all of football. Even the 20th place in Premier League pays more money than the first place in any other league in Europe. And Man Utd is probably on of the Top 3 most renowned clubs in football, so there will probably a lot of money they will get for jersey sales, sponsorship deals, ticket sales and so on. In 2015-16 Man Utd ranked No.1 in most revenue for European football clubs according to Deloitte. That's one of the reasons why I've been criticizing English clubs for such a long time. They have by far the most money in Europe and were abysmal internationally until 1-2 years ago. Since the new influx of foreign coaches like Pep, they seem to come along. There are 12 (!) English teams in the Top 30 clubs with most revenue in 2015-16.
