According to the Guardian, Man Utd spent more money on transfer fees in the last 2 years than Leicester City in its entire 132 year history. -

Big discussion right now about that among the fans. Personally I don't like booing players wearing our jersey. Next season, when he's wearing red, go for it. But now we still need him fully motivated in the cup final. -

Yeah, I got that. Just wanted to share a bit of the Dortmund fans thoughts. -

They all had reasons. Otherwise they wouldn't have gone. Most Dortmund fans view those departures quite the opposite, because Götze told media just weeks before his transfer was announced that he could imagine retiring at Dortmund. And Hummels was our emotional leader for the last couple of years. He wasn't on good terms with Götze's decision, either. Had something to say about Götze taking the easy way out. Now he's taking it himself. In the end, it's just a job for all of them. As in hockey, as in every other professional sport, it's all about money and success. Doesn't mean it's not like a kick in the nuts every time something like that happens. -

Don't think he can do any worse than Cary Williams last year. And he's cheaper. So there's that.

It's gonna be a hell of a transfer summer this year. Could be the biggest ever for us. Gündogan, Park and Ramos are pretty much guaranteed to leave. Hummels, Schmelzer, Mkhitaryan, Leitner and Subotic are also questionable. Plus there are about 2-3 players who I could also see leaving for the right amount of cash. Some obscure rumours on the other side as well. A lot is written about Götze in german media. Seems legit. I just don't want to see him here again. Lukaku is mentioned, although I think that's ridiculous. Even if we decide to cash in on Auba we would need to invest almost all of it into Lukaku. Süle for CB maybe. Then there are the usual rumours about unproven youngsters from obscure leagues from all over the world. I won't have any nails left at the end of August. -

US teen Christian Pulisic became the 4th youngest goalscorer in Bundesliga history. Was on for a full 90 minutes along with Felix Passlack. Both just 17 years old. -

So furious right now. Pathetic performance after we scored the 3rd. Stopped playing football. After Liverpool's second we totally wet ourselves. Season's over for me as of today. Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic. I'm not sure which amount of swearing is appropriate at CDC yet. Just imagine the worst kind. And then double the amount. Then you might be close to what I'm really trying to say. -

Bayern vs. Atletico would be my final of choice. City and Real might be on the same level when you only consider the players on an individual basis. But Bayern and Atletico are on another level in a tactical sense. -

Terrible match from us. Reus and Durm awful. Can't even blame Auba. He was not getting a lot of good passes up front. Hopefully Gündogan and Ramos are back for next week. Referee was bad as well. Some questionable challenges from Lallana and Moreno(?) should have been at least yellow cards. -

Oh yes, they did. PSG should have scored 4 or 5 in the first half alone. Zlatan missed a penalty and a big chance a couple of minutes later. Don't know about the second half, though. -

Wolfsburg gave Real quite a little spanking tonight. Could have been even higher than 2-0. And Marcelo should clearly have been sent off. Real got theirselves a bit of a challenge for the second leg. -

Since he's at Real, he has developed into the ultimate goal scoring machine. But he can't do much else, imho. He's not creating much. If the team is bad, he's not scoring either. He's great when you have a 3-0 lead. He will score another 5 goals for sure. But in other situations, there's not just Messi who I would play instead of Ronaldo. -

The great Johan Cruyff died today aged 68 of lung cancer. Probably one of the most influential footballers and managers of the past century. Ajax and Barca wouldn't be the clubs they are now without him. He single-handedly build up both those teams youth academies. They remain two of the most renowned institutions of that kind until today. Additionally his style Voetbal totaal was introduced to both of the aforementioned clubs. This system inspired lots of managers of later generations. For example, it is the foundation of Pep Guardiola's juego de posición (aka tiki taka). May he rest in peace. -

Maybe Sevilla would have been worse because they play nasty football with fangs and claws so to speak. Doesn't suit us. I live about an hour east of Dortmund. The club's ticket distribution system favours club members. They can purchase tickets around 2-3 days earlier than everybody else. If there are tickets left, you can look for them in the club's ticket shop online: https://www.eventimsports.de/ols/bvb/en (no tickets on sale right now) -

Allegri's fault imo. They should've gone for the 3rd goal and not subbed off Cuadrado and especially not Morata. Mandzukic was practically non-existent until after the 4-2.
