Really? A blown call by the referee in a meaningless game and you suspect racism? Overreaction much? Huge migrant crisis might be a tad too much as well. -

Yes. He's also hit a teammate in the face a few years ago and earlier this year he did the same to a French journalist. He's also had numerous occasions on field where he should've been sent off due to him elbowing etc. Other clubs would have gotten rid of such a character (or lack thereof) ages ago. But to quote Bayern president Uli Hoeneß (who served a sentence for tax evasion himself not too long ago), it's the Bayern family, so... They have a bit of a mobster mentality going on at the club with Hoeneß back at the helm. -

Classy as always. Perfect fit for Bayern. -
Terrible play calling throughout the game from the Hawks imo
-
Janikowski looks to be out for the game. Hawks will probably have to resort to Michael Dickson's Dropkicks now

Well. So far, so boring.

Good time for Davies to come in. Bayern having a bad season, Ribery and Robben showing their age. Coman and Gnabry are injured a lot. Davies has been in training with Bayern since the end of MLS regular season. Bundesliga is in winter break now and he can have an additional 2-3 weeks of preparation. Still, as a Dortmund fan, I hope he fails miserably. Going to be one hell of a game. -

Pulisic to Chelsea for 64m € + loan back to Dortmund until the end of this season. That's a lot for a player who has spent most of his time on the bench this season and has only 18 months left on his contract. Must be one expensive passport. Susi Zorc committing highway robbery here. Love it. To Pulisic, I hope he can focus on what he can do best. This season his head already seems to be somewhere else. Trying too much 1-on-1s which is not his strong suit. Should focus more on his passing game. He could still be a very good player for Chelsea, but he should stop trying to be Ousmane Dembélé or Jadon Sancho. If he continues doing that he will fail at Chelsea. But Sarri might be a good coach for him to get rid of that habit. -

Ah, thanks. Would have been weird to have your only real striker and arguably your best player on the bench for no reason. I do like McGregor and Christie (?) as Central Midfielders. -

@Scottish⑦Canuck Haven't watched a lot of Celtic this season but I thought that was an odd first 11 today. Would have expected Tierney and Edouard in there. Scott Brown didn't have his best game today. Were there any reasons in your opinion why the aforementioned shouldn't start? -

At midway through their respective seasons: Dortmund 1st in the Bundesliga Former Dortmund U19s coach Hannes Wolf 1st in the 2nd Bundesliga with Hamburg Former Dortmund second team coach Daniel Farke 1st in the English Championship with Norwich Former Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp 1st in the Premier League with Liverpool Former Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel 1st in Ligue 1 with PSG I sense a pattern here. -

I am very curious to see what Alphonso Davies can do for Bayern. They badly need speed and youth. I didn't think he would play much in the beginning when the transfer was announced. Simply because the competitions of MLS and Bundesliga are still quite a bit apart in terms of quality. But Bayern needs someone like Davies so badly in their squad that maybe they won't care too much about him having problems to adjust. Simply the option of having someone on the wing who can outrun a defense should warrant more playing time for Davies than I initially thought. On the other hand if the league table looks something like this around January or February they might not have the patience and go for short term success. -

Yes, haven't seen that before in Glasgow of all places. One would think a club with those fans and history would be a little more old fashioned. -

German magazine Der Spiegel published a new chapter of their Football Leaks series today and will publish more over the next couple of weeks. It will contain stories about: plans for a new European Super League including plans of teams to leave their domestic leagues (Bayern for example) shady deals involving Gianni Infantino, PSG, Nicolas Sarkozy, Michél Platini & Man City and Shaykh Al-Thani positive doping test of a not yet named world class footballer http://www.spiegel.de/international/football-leaks-manchester-city-paris-saint-germain-gianni-infantino-a-1236277.html#ref=rss http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/football-documents-show-secret-plans-for-elite-league-of-top-clubs-a-1236447.html http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/gianni-infantino-as-fifa-president-provide-and-rule-a-1236439.html http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/financial-fair-play-manchester-city-and-psg-pact-with-the-sheikhs-a-1236414.html -

One year ago we couldn't beat APOEL. Now we've handed Cholo his worst defeat since he's a coach at Atleti. Did it without our best striker and best defender as well. -

Kicker report that the contract between Dortmund and Paco has already been negotiated. That's probably how it works with most buying options in loan contracts. -

Of course the player has the right to say no. But Barcelona would have no choice but to accept. An option to buy wouldn't make much sense if Barca could just reject the money.
