  1. Deal is 63.75m €. Giroud to Chelsea, Batshuayi on loan to BVB. Also Marc Bartra to Betis. Sad to see him go. Clearly a move away from here because he's still affected by the bus bombing. Wish him all the best. He's been a terrific addition football-wise but especially character-wise. Furthermore we signed Sergio Gómez from Barca's youth team. Don't know anything about him but seems he was one of Barca's best academy players. Barca fans seem quite unpleased he's leaving.
  2. German media reporting Aubameyang could be announced as early as today. We will sign Batshuayi as replacement. Auba's deal 63m € + 5m € paid in bonus. I'd be ok with that.
  3. C1 Scotland, Albania, Israel C2 Hungary, Greece, Finland, Estonia C3 Slovenia, Norway, Bulgaria, Cyprus C4 Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Lithuania D1 Georgia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Andorra D2 Belarus, Luxemburg, Moldavia, San Marino D3 Azerbaijan, Faroe Islands, Malta, Kosovo D4 Macedonia, Armenia, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar I think.
  4. Don't know if this site is well known by Arsenal fans but the tactics blogger Lewis Ambrose has been a guest on a couple of Dortmund podcasts in the past. He wrote some stuff about Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan. What to expect, how they play etc: https://arseblog.com/2018/01/arsenal-want-aubameyang-can-offer-risky/ https://arseblog.com/2018/01/henrikh-mkhitaryan-no-normal-footballer/
  5. Why did the ref blow the whistle that early?
  6. Yeah, you probably don't want Auba on the wing. That's not gonna work well . He's very similar to Lacazette in that regard which still makes me wonder why Arsenal is interested in him in the first place. You can play him there. But he's only half as good in that position.
  7. Alexis for Mkhitaryan one for one swap is as good as done. If Mkhitaryan can find his flow, Arsenal will have the better end of this deal.
  8. No points today. Bust! Trade him! jk Växjö now 16 points clear. If I hadn't already booked 2 vacations I'd seriously consider a weekend trip to Växjö for a playoff game. I've spent a couple of hours during a school exchange there somewhere around 2008/09. Nice little town.
  9. Goretzka to Bayern confirmed. Surprise. Meanwhile possible replacements for Aubameyang include Batshuayi and Giroud. Some Arsenal insider reported on something like 40m € + 6 month loan of Giroud for Auba and then a purchase of Batshuayi. I would be more than ok with that. But we'll see.
  10. On the other hand he has to pay Swiss prices in the grocery store, so...
  11. I do hope you get your wish btw. He's behaving like a petulant little s*** the last 1.5 years. The club has been nothing but accomodating for his antics and would have let him leave already last summer but no good offers came in so he had to stay. He could have been a club legend if he just sat still and waited for the next offer. There would have been no hard feelings if he left on good terms. Instead he's skipping team meetings and shooting rap videos on club grounds without permission. Hope he's gone this or next week. I don't even care if we get a replacement this winter. He's toxic in the locker room right now.
  12. In his prime Ronaldinho was probably the most fun to watch player of all time. He was a showman more than a football player. He kinda deserves his own category.
  13. Växjö already up 2-0 after 6 minutes. Pettersson with the first. Sniper as per usual.

  15. The Titans can't defend Tight Ends. I'll show myself out...
  16. Extensive article on Pep's city by the most renowned tactics site in Germany. Text in English. https://spielverlagerung.com/2018/01/02/how-peps-citizens-have-taken-over-england/
  17. Dak and Dez not looking good today
  18. Horrible call. That was clearly and only OPI on Beasley. Ridiculously bad decision.
  19. Nice little look into Pep's system with pictures and videos. Quite hard to find extensive literature on juego de posición in English (or German for that matter): http://timpalmerfootball.com/blog/2017/12/19/pep-guardiolas-positional-play-and-zone-rules-that-have-helped-manchester-city-dominate-the-premier-league/
  20. Yeah, Wolf (former U17s and U19s coach), David Wagner (former second team coach) and Daniel Farke (former second team coach and from my hometown of Lippstadt) are all good coaches with connection to our club. But Nagelsmann is the hottest sh*t right now sooo... I initially thought as well they would go for him. But it seems their focus has shifted to Tuchel. Curious to see how Tuchel's ego will be a fit to the egos of Hoeneß, Rummenigge etc. That could be a lot of fun in the future.
  21. Next Peter up. Peter Stöger until the summer. Just got fired from Cologne after one of the most disastrous runs in Bundesliga history. Good coach nonetheless. Rumours have it that Nagelsmann will come next summer.
