Now at Starbucks.. COVID-19: Masks now mandatory at all Starbucks Canada locations Beginning Sept. 14, masks will be mandatory for customers at all Starbucks locations across Canada.

You don't think Dr. B teaching a class of 4 kids is realistic... ? Most highschool classes in Surrey are over 30 kids per room. Looks like NDP now are starting to realize how their lack of a structured covid plan has upset BC parents and families. Pretty sure BC teachers try to teach kids about the importance of being honest .........LOL .. Dr B will lose credibilty by these super misleading ads.

Its been a great season of Canuck hockey. Our club is playing hard and is playing the right way with character. Vegas is a very strong team and our weak record against them over the last 2 years shows it. Canucks players have taken a big step forward this year with our young core now taking LEADING roles on the team. Great season. I really don't want to complain about Vegas... they also have great club and their team is much more experienced / older that our core. This post season is a learning experience for our players and will help further their development. Now lets just win the NEXT game and heh, you never know what could happen.

Teachers are being forced to work in overcrowded classrooms - 30 kids / no masks /no temp testing / no social distancing / no plastic barriers while Horgan and the NDP refuse to be in the same room as reporters. Is this what they call leadership? You've been given the money by JT and the Feds to fix this so there's no excuse now

Canada has had 50% more cases than Sweden... and Canada has 100% more deaths than Sweden due to Covid.. But keep in mind Canada has 400% the population of Sweden. I think the virus / 2nd wave of Covid is now pretty much a serious threat to every country's population

Interesting - i think BC only tests 4000 people per day....T Testing for COVID-19 in Ontario In the last 24 hours in Ontario , more than 24,900 tests were conducted. https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/ontario-reports-dip-in-new-covid-19-cases-but-still-logs-more-than-100-new-infections-1.5085099

Great to see BC gov now wasting our taxpayers dollars on misleading ads... Unrealistic’: Critics slam B.C. back-to-school COVID-19 ad featuring Dr. Bonnie Henry A new ad produced by the B.C. government featuring provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry is earning poor marks from the B.C. Teachers’ Federation. The 30-second spot is aimed at parents and students heading back to class next month under new COVID-19 protocols. In the ad, Henry runs through a few of the precautions that will be in place: frequent hand washing, student learning cohorts and the use of masks in some situation Union president Teri Mooring says the advertisement doesn’t paint an accurate picture of what schools will look like. “It saddens me that Dr. Henry was used in this ad,” she said. “In that ad, we didn’t see 30 to 32 17-year-olds. It’s unfortunate.” https://globalnews.ca/news/7306040/coronavirus-b-c-teachers-union-back-to-school-ad/

I have no problem with beaches being open. Every beach i have been at, i have seen people social distancing quite well. Being outdoors is much safer than indoors. Asking young people to not socialize for 6 months is not going to work. We have to ask young people to socialize SAFELY and social distance. YES, warn them and then fine them if they refuse. Here is a few ideas i have Increase covid testing in BC Mandatory mask in stores and in schools - worksites where safe social distancing can not happen Reduce class sizes in Sept so social distancing can occur Offer familes online learning opportunties - many families have immune compromised people living in the home and need this option Shut down bars / strip clubs - maybe bars could have outdoor patios expanded and stay open. Won't work for strip bars - LOL Increase restaurant outdoor patios limits / sizes - even extend their hours to help them stay open Termperature testing at work sites / schools Encouraging non bc tourists to stay in their own province for now

Many people with covid do not get to the ICU but will have long term negative health affects. When you see covid transmission rates rise...... then guess what.... hospital rates / death rates will rise a few weeks later. That how it typically works. When our BC government promoted Glory holes and Albertans to holiday / party here in BC. ..... It became apparent the BC govenment had NO intelligent Covid Policy in place.
-
Yah, sorry but no. More new covid cases yesterday in BC pop. 5 mil than Ontario pop 15 mil. BC tests 4000 people per day and Ontario tests over 16,000 per day. BC has done a completely crap job with its covid policies. BC had a good March and April and then our leadership completely let us all down.
-
I have 100% confidence in our BC government to screw up any initiative they are involved with. Look at the terrible job of pot legalization in BC. Organized crime in BC doing as well as ever with the illegal pot industry still functionning very well in BC.

South Korea has reduced class sizes, plexiglass partitioning, and mandatory masks. @AdrianaLaGrange used this as an example of why AB can reopen (although did not adopt the same measures). Schools in Seoul are now closing due to outbreaks. https:// https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-53901707 BC schools - No plexiglass, NO social distancing. - NO masks - NO reduced Class sizes

Y0u do realize Ontario has 15 million people living there.. BC has 5 mil .... More new covid cases now in BC per day as of today... Ontario also tests way more people than BC does... ONtario test over 16,000 people per day and BC tests 3500 people per day i believe.... Look for the BC gov to start spending millions of tax payers dollars on phoney TV ads telling how well BC is doing with covid.. Probably filming the ads as i post....
