I wonder if we see Juolevi draw back into game action now that he doesn't have a chance of becoming Seattle expansion eligible.

The game requirements has nothing to do with exemption. Only players with 2 pro seasons or less are exempt.
Juolevi, Lind, Brisebois, Gadjovich all have more than 2 pro seasons and can be selected by Seattle if not protected.
Among all the players left exposed, there needs to be at least 2 Fs + 1 D that have met the game requirement and still be under contract next season. Bowey was probably acquired to meet that requirement otherwise they would have to expose either Myers or Schmidt.

every player over 20 who has a SPC contract gains a year of experience with a minimum 10+ games in a professional league.
18 and 19 year old's gain a year of experience with 10+ games in the nhl.
players do not gain experience unless they are signed with a NHL team, which is why tryamkin was exempt. no contract, no experience. weird rule but whatever.

Not 10 games as of age 20 - just 1. See Teves and Rafferty who signed at the same time as Hughes but are not exempt although they have less games than Hughes that season. They were above 20 while he was a teenager.
As of age 20, 1 game in any top tier pro league counts as a pro season provided the player is under NHL contract. NHL, AHL, SHL, KHL, etc but not ECHL.
