    Such a passionate way for Canucks fans to follow the team. Will be a shame not to have this forum to watch all the young prospects grow and learn about potential things happening with Canucks. will be a shame, hoping for a reason why

    Wrecked him! Love to see a guy with this level of physicality grow through our system! Woo and Pettersson as a pairing is the dream for a 2nd/ third pairing

    I hope we hold onto Myers, give him a more limited role now behind Hronek and then flip him at the deadline regardless of playoffs and play our prospects more. McWard , Woo and Johansson should all receive extended looks at the next level next year

    This is it in my mind. Short term depth that can be easily waived/moved and allow the young guns to come in

    I want a defenseman preferably RD and that’s it. Can be Soucy or Schenn. Tired of signing bottom 6 players to too much money in free agency instead of giving kids opportunities

    I actually 100% agree with this. From a marketing point of view Woo would be a big add He also could be the perfect fit for Hughes going forward. The only thing that has really bugged me the last 5ish years has been prospects not given a chance. Look at Chatfield for example, how nice it’d be to have him being the defensively responsible coloured (lack of better word) partner for Hughes

    Haha for sure, but I understand we also need to be getting better on our NHL roster and Hronek should be a very positive change for us. Allows Hughes to eat less minutes and lowers Myers role while giving some actual presence on the right side allowing young prospects to be filtered in. Hoping we sign Schenn tomorrow and can flip Myers for some actual value next deadline and get Woo or Johansson playing some actual minutes

    I have Truscott higher for sure. Kid isn’t elite offensively but has a lot of tools. Id put him above Mynio on that list. Amazing how one draft can really turn around a prospect pool

    I don’t hate drafting this guy like most. If he’s seen as having an actual NHL future then that’s what your targeting in later rounds. People acting like some of these other later prospects have as much or more potential but in the end you never really know

    Terrell Goldsmith Really want to grab this kid with a late draft pick. From my hometown of Fort St James and is a big LD who plays hard. Would love to see more local BC kids drafted

    Hoping for Reinbacher, expecting Willander or Simashev! Happy with any of these three though honestly, would like to avoid a winger unless it’s Michkov

    Ya it will be good to see kids competing for spots. Hoglander, Karlsson and Hirose Are the three I think might push some vets out of the lineup. Hogs-Petey-Beauviller Mikheyev-Miller(still hoping trade)-Boeser Kuzmenko-Karlsson-Podz Garland-Aman-Joshua Hughes-Schenn Hirose-Hronek Brisebois-Myers

    If we move up I think it’s Columbus we’re targeting and Carlsson. 11OA + Miller for 3OA + Stanislav Svozil

    Maybe Willander if they trade down? Or just interviewing some players to hide interest in another?

    Lots of talk between NYR and Van with regards to Lafreniere. Wonder if a simple trade down would do it. 11Oa for 23 OA and Laf ideally draft Wallinder or Bonk thoughts?

    In my opinion you run Demko Martin to start the year. At deadline if Martin has value you trade him and start working Silovs into your lineup and give him NHL action after he plays as starter in Abby

    If Woo’s ready then there’s a spot for him. If we draft one of those guys they are going to need time to develop. Myers is UFA after this season and Hronek is the only main keeper

    With Hronek that shouldn’t happen. And oh Schenn is signed and paired with Hughes that should allow Myers a much more limited role
