  1. Would have helped if he didn't get scratched while on his hot streak. Has to hurt the confidence to play extremely well and then be scratched right off the bat for the season start
  2. He's already wearing cement skates. Is that not enough
  3. If expansion wasn't looming it'd be an easy decision to keep Marky as long as he signs a fair contract
  4. This is a transitional year for this team. Its a year made to improve and let the kids play and develop. Demko, Hughes, Petey, Juolevi, Rafferty etc. should all be able to use this year and NHL time to develop. Personally I would trade Markstrom at the deadline. BUT, you would have to get a good return (1st+) and a decent NHL goalie to split the starts with Demko if he struggles.Something like Markstrom for Talbot+1st+Bennett This team should not be afraid of moving players such as Sutter, Pearson, Leivo, Beagle, Schaller, Tanev and Benn to give opportunities to developing youngsters such as Gaudette, MacEwen, Goldy, Baer, Juolevi, Rafferty, Jasek and Lind
  5. Agreed, send Gaudette down. Call up Baer and sit Leivo for a few games
  6. You get Focht and WOOOO!
  7. Agreed, same could be said for Boeser. Power play and bottom 6 have looked pretty damn good but wouldn't mind seeing the top 6 get mixed up a bit. Ferland-Pettersson-Miller Pearson-Horvat-Boeser Try to spark some new chemistry?
  8. Best Schaller game in Canucks colours. Ive been hard on the guy this year and last but he played really well tonight
  9. Humans have caused the most recent climatic change. End of story. There is no debate when all the data and science supports that fact
  10. noticed that too. looked like he was labouring a lot of the game
  11. So has anyone noticed Schaller yet?

Is it a good thing we haven't seen him this regular season?

Or if you still want some more size then bring up MacEwen for a bit

    3. 6string

      6string

Schaller's like a shoe horn, you don't really need one.

Eriksson's like a lighter and who need's one?

      What's a schaller

  12. Personally I think thats just a dumb ref moment. If two guys are going to go then let them go, or call a penalty. Don't go grabbing a guy, take him to the ice and expect him to not push you away.
  13. Or we may look like geniuses capitalizing on value while its still there. Cant predict the future. As it is now Virt is a third/fourth line winger. May turn into a Bertuzzi or maybe just be a Skille type
  14. Im glad we decided to clone him this offseason. Should add a couple top 4 LD to the mix soon
  15. Wow that lineup would look a lot better with Gaudette as the 3C over Sutter. Sutter+Virtanen.... what would that fetch? A second?
  16. Right where the big guy needs to be to succeed. Heres hoping his skating can take a step forward this year
  17. Considering where this team is currently in the rebuild, with its wealth of bottom 6 players and lack of top 6 offensively minded wingers, I think it would be pointless to waive a kid like Goldobin over aging Veterans (Loui and Schaller). Goldy has that skill and Id rather see him slotting into a spot beside Petey or Bo when the inevitable injuries occur. He may become a high quality player still
  18. Ferland-Pettersson-Boeser Pearson-Horvat-Miller Beartschi-Gaudette-Sutter Leivo-Beagle-Virtanen Goldobin, Motte Sent down- MacEwen, Graovac Waived- Schaller, Eriksson IR- Rousell Edler-Myers Hughes-Tanev Benn-Stecher Fantenberg Sent down- Brisebois, Chatfield Waived- Biega, Bachman
