  1. Wrong forum. This is Evan Mceneny talk.
  2. True but Bennings 2014 and 2015 draft has already showed some real NHL talent. 2014- Tryamkin looks well on his way to being an NHLer for years(Only question is conditioning but that improves with age) Demko- Future #1starter if you talk to any scout. Forsling-Showing he most likely will be NHL calibre already at age 20. Virtanen- will be an NHL player. Whether thats first second or third line. McCann-has the talent..just needs the attitude. 2015- Boeser..enough said. Brisebois-looking like a leader and at the very least 3rdpair depth Dman. Neill-Lighting it up but might not translate. Zhukenov, Jasek, Olsen all can still be NHL players. <^^< that is good drafting. You know that there are at LEAST 4 guaranteed NHLers in Tram, Demko, Boeser, Virtanen. In two years Benning already has more NHL draft pick NHLers then Gillis.
  3. Well Boeser looks like a great pick. Juolevi a good pick right now. Demko a great one for a 2nd. I think the Canucks rushed both Virtanen and McCann in to satisfy fans wants and thats hurt their development currently. I do think that no matter what, Virtanen will be an NHL player for us. Even if that is in a few years as a third liner. But however it works it definitely beats Gillises drafting. Gillis managed Horvat(thank god haha) and Gaunce...thats about it for his first round picks. In my mind Benning has drafted more NHLers in two years then Gillis in 5.
  4. haha sorry I meant the bruins. Its true he seams like a slow starter in a new place. My concern is that with the way the league is now, being built on speed that as Eriksson ages he won't keep up. But well see.. Hoping the best for him so that the Canucks do well
  5. Ya but with Dallas he was young and going into his prime. Now he's older and about to go into the decline stage. My guess is that the last three years of his contract are really going to hurt this team.
  6. Ok then explain why Megna has been gifted time with the Sedins? and why both Chaput and Megna were gifted spots on the roster? I know it was mostly due to injury but now with Rodin back and Boucher needing a look why not send Chaput down? He hasn't done enough at this level to prove he deserves a spot. I would also argue Megna has barely done enough so far to earn a spot(just because he has 3 goals)
  7. Unless your names Vey, Chaput or Megna. In Megnas case you get to play with the Sedins because thats whats best for the team hahaha
  8. Ya I agree, Id like to see him on the third line. Granland-Gaunce-Rodin might be good and fun to watch.
  9. So hows Boesers wrist doing? any updates besides proposals for Domi? Or am I in the wrong thread?
  10. Brad Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald says Brock Boeser, who will miss the World Juniors after wrist surgery, has been hampered by the injury all season. Brad says it’s considered a minor surgery and Brock will miss about a month, with people at North Dakota expecting him to be back at full health, better than ever. He may have still been producing but he was playing injured. https://m.soundcloud.com/tsn-radio-vancouver/brad-schlossman-boeser-hampered-by-wrist-injury-all-year-expected-back-better-than-ever
  11. If Corrado couldn't make our blue line or torontos then he is probably not going to make it as an NHLer full time. He is still young but you'd have expected more out of him by now.
  12. Ahh, dont compare Brisebois to Corrado... I had high hopes for this kid. Corrado isn't going to be that D people thought he would so maybe the guys back then had it right
  13. Exactly why your on CDC right now hahaha
  14. McCann... Also if you haven't noticed Hutton, Granlund, Baertschi and Tryamkin still haven't shown enough to be called NHLers permanently and we don't know if they will hit their potential. Horvat is the only one that has absolutely proven he's an NHLer and will be on this team for years to come.
  15. Wow, you are acting like a pompous little child. Why are you becoming so aggressive kid? How could you know more then everyone else on this thread? Are you watching every single game, his doctor or family member? Your speculating as much as anyone else on this thread.
  16. Well if its the wrist and the joint is bruised then that would limit mobility of that joint and be quite painful. No reason to hide a different injury from people. He probably just needs a week or two rest
  17. You think about Bennings talent analysis of defensemen and you have to be impressed. Stetcher, Tryamkin, Brisebois, Hutton, Olsen, Forsling etc. Makes you think that Juolevi will be a star in the future considering where he was picked compared to the others.
  18. Man I can just picture Joulevi and stetcher manning the PP in the future. Has to get you excited for our future D core!
  19. I actually like 51, its unique, just like the player is for us. Cant wait to see what he develops into
  20. I believe Benning said it was a bruised wrist bone? Almost positive about that but I am positive he said its a bruised bone. I think he said a week until Boeser is back.
  21. Thats the thing though, we have vets. Eriksson, Sedins, Hansen, Burrows, Dorsett, Sutter as forwards. Edler, Tanev, and you could argue Sbisa, Gudbranson on D. We can afford to trade a couple vets. Hansen, Edler, Burrows at the deadline would be a good start.
  22. Need new young guys coming in sooner rather then later. Its not like we are even close to being cup contenders with or without Hansen. Love the way he plays but its time to get younger even if that means putting in a slightly less proven player.
  23. Sorry what did Russell get last year? Haha Hansen worth a first at the deadline without a doubt, especially with his great Cap hit
  24. Ok if that picture doesn't shut up all the people saying Boeser won't sign with us I don't know what will...
