What's your favorite thing about CDC? What's your least favorite?
..
.
My favorite is getting a chance to connect with other hockey hooligans who love my team as much as I do. I've only ever met two Canucks fans here in my city (only briefly, we aren't friends) since I started watching the sport.
My least favorite is how negative people can be about the team. Yes, we're rebuilding/retooling/whatever. Yes, on the whole we're terrible and it sucks. But still, there are lots of bright spots (the young guns, the charity work, etc.) that make the organization something worth enjoying.-
I often use CDC as a source to Canucks news or relevant information regarding player transactions/management news etc. I really appreciate those who take the time to post whether twitter tweets, news for Canucks.com and just the prompt responses so everyone can have an idea what exactly is going around not just our team but around the league. Props to the mods that keep the forum fairly clean and consistent in how news is posted and kept orderly so everything is rather simple to navigate. Best part of CDC.
I love how I can take my opinion and gauge how it compares to how other fans feel about the game, players, team and game philosophy the most. It actually helps me understand the game better for those who are closer to the game or have a higher understanding of certain nuances. So I appreciate understanding and learning the game from other posters even if there are some conflicts.
Least favourite like you said, how quickly we can become very negative about the team. I'm guilty of it at times, but I chalk it up to a fanbase that is so very passionate to want to win and be excellent. Regardless, of it, it actually only makes me even more passionate to want to win again. I miss that feeling.
