Really sad news. I don't follow Pasta, but I read elsewhere that he'd been really excited about fatherhood. I feel for his girlfriend and him. One thing I appreciate is that they chose to share this publicly. They, along with other players (Granlund, Haula, E. Kane, Karlsson, and Pietrangelo - to name a few) who have lost children to miscarriages and stillbirth have really drawn attention to just how prevalent this unfortunate occurrence can be, even among families of means. A lot of parents suffer in silence after the loss of a child. Hopefully being out in the open about this will help other families dealing with the same thing feel less alone. -

Tough to pass judgment until the investigation is complete. They will have access to all the text conversations and social media interactions between the two. Probably will be very little evidence from inside the hotel room at this point though. Will probably be more of a he said she said kinda thing that will end in a settlement and Virtanen on another team.
