Maybe that’s what wrong with the atmosphere or fan-experience in Rogers. (I’m being facetious, of course) Ever been to a commercial/beer league game? Bush League has the best atmosphere. I’d love it if Orca could somehow import that kind of fan engagement or culture into the stands at Rogers Place. The Canucks should pay actual hockey fans who drive trucks, own chain saws and can change their own tires or engine oil to come Canucks games, drink beer, dance, yell, scream... whatever. The Canucks should deliver bus loads of people from 100 Mile House, Terrace, Quesnel or Merritt to Rogers and tell them to make themselves at home. Tell them to show DT Vancouver people how to behave at a hockey game. With any luck, those Shames fans won’t wear the Red sweaters anymore.

Pod’s skating posture is extremely poor. He also keeps his stick waist high while impersonating Mason Raymond and that 90 degree, bent over stride. Those two things are indicative of the work he has still do to be an effective player. I’m actually surprised how he has been allowed to engrain those into his game. Hope it it works out for him. -

He’s going to be some kind of star in the NHL. I think he’s been my favourite player so far in the tournament. -
“Fans” only know fandom. This is why the board relies so heavily on posters like yourself, Rupert, etc. Without people who know wtf they are talking about beyond words, google and parroting, this is an awful fan experience. IMO, it’s like a hockey panel of Squire Barnes’ without a Bieksa or whomever to balance out the bull $&!#.

It’s been made that we can’t even be precise in what we say because it’s too hateful. My career and whatever else would be over, just for stating the obvious. Its like Ike people don’t see what’s coming, one small step at a time. Not the monopoly, nor the censorship. Both have been disastrous, but who sees it though? That’s why this thread is 2 pages while Trump page is 4K, I guess.

It can be a challenge to not get sucked into outright personal attacks on fellow posters who come at your person and not the post on here. We have our share of antagonists doing their thing on here. Its fairly obvious who they are. It’s not as obvious who is full of crap on here, while we can be anything we say we are online, but after a while, you can see things for what they are, IMO.

I’m impressed, or happy, but it was LA. The Canucks are still right there with the worst teams in the league, spotting them 50 shots, etc. I don’t care how they win, just that they do, but I’m not going to be bouncing up and down when they beat a terrible team like LA, 3-2, while surrendering shots like that. There has been a trend of surrendering an unreasonable amount of shots here for quite a while now. I felt like it was just a matter of time before they gave up a 50 game. A few more 40+ shot games and this place will be sporting pitchforks once they figure out what it all means. You know it’s coming. Lastly, Benning should buy Marky another Audi. We all know why.
