  1. Who wants to play the guessing game of guessing which Canucks star player who we think will be the next one to be “injured on a hockey play”?
  2. Is the video of their baboonery and interaction with that guard out there for us to see yet? You think it would be. And wow, from the police interview video the female guard appears to have a very attractive figure. What a beauty,
  3. I don’t see a system issue either and don’t know if the complainant called in a sex crime, or at least represented that story enough to warrant 911 initiating the response to an alleged sex crime. The only reason I’m here with these comments right now is because when I first commented in here that I saw it was first referenced as a sex crime, it was kinda shrugged off. So, I posted the a link to the report, questioned the validity and intent of the initial crime that was being investigated by the responding officer, and have since provided a reasonable summary of the police report. Others have expressed their outrage at this incident, instead I am expressing a line of questioning regarding mooning being a sex crime, an obvious disservice to survivors of actual sex crimes. I’m not sure why this isn’t being looked upon at face value and why I’m being told it’s no big deal. It’s a biggg deal, just not here, now. It’s much easier to cheer on the witch burning culture we have now than to stop it. I figured the media headlines, combined with what alleged crime the police were called in to investigate against AM, were discussion-worthy, but I see that... nope, wrong.
  4. I’m betting that, ultimately, she’ll get that expensive therapy, alright. She should get a new job too, one where her condition won’t complicate her work concerning Chance, stressful interactions at 2am in a parking lot.
  5. Thanks Jimmy. What was she accused of lying about though? Are there specifics? (His friends were right there. Unless his dad is super stupid, what good could come from of accusing her of lying, unless it was about a specific thing?) And no, I’m focusing on the police “responding to a sex crime”, , not a blogger thing or a fringe perspective, which is different than burglary, motor vehicle incident, theft, vandalism... I mean to suggest here that this incident was reported to the police - as a sex crime. That is in the Scottsdale Police Report of the responding officer. Which means, we can start there with the facts, which sex crime is part of. Interesting, did you guys read the report? My summary: She already knew/knew of AM and that he lived there. She’d had an interaction with that group leaving that building at 11pm. She was sitting in her locked car at 2pm -because ‘she’s a female’. She heard the car door handle wiggling and then saw a group of men outside her car. So... she got out. She has PTSD, a yet does this line of work. The dickheads joke with her about wanting to see what she’d do if they did that. AM continues to be Fuhkey the Drunk Clown and walks to the elevator, eventually his pants come down, he is wearing boxers. He then grabs his cheeks. Police respond to a sex crime then degrade the crime to disorderly conduct.
  6. You shouldn’t should on people, Deb. If I wanted to join the outage over his poor behaviour I would, and pile on with you to show my values as well, which are inherent in most of us, agreed. Instead, I skipped the outrage-a-thon creed moment and “ tried” to discuss the use of language in media. If my reaction, or lack thereof, of stating the obvious with the rest of the mob concerning AM’s conduct irks you, I can’t help that. I’d rather talk about another perspective of this story, Don’t let me keep you, or anybody else, from expressing your distain for his behaviour, but don’t tell me what to think or say, please.
  7. You know I’m a cave man. That was once up on the TSN page with the story -somehow it’s no longer there. Is that an actual, legit, police report?
  8. And I don’t like that you criticize that. Language can be a weapon and it certainly would suck to have weaponized words used against you.
  9. Would it surprise you to learn that the police “responded to a sex crime” then? Sounds like it would. https://mobile.twitter.com/WALLACHLEGAL/status/1176641239715864576?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1176641239715864576&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gohabsgo.com%2Farticles%2Fofficial-police-report-from-auston-matthews-incide%2F Whether or not it’s just me mentioning it here is one thing, but the intent of the reported crime is another. Don’t shoot the messenger.
  10. I’m sorry, she’s not believed? What’s not to believe? I thought there was an evening-long audience to his antics, including this women’s. I listened to her on the recording, but haven’t spent any time on the matter other than to question the headline. She’s certainly poorly articulates her thoughts, but I don’t think her story of the incident and supposed witness statements leave much to think that the incident never happened? What aspect was she accused of lying about? I’d assume, if it were myself being the charged jackass anyways, that it was the reporting of the incident as a sex crime that I’d be looking to dispute, but like I said, I know nothing besides what indecent exposure/dropping your pants in public generally means.
  11. Simple question, What immediately comes to your mind when you hear that a man indecently “pulled down his pants”? Using that statement, which is an undeniable common phrase, as a headline and the premise of the story is misleading. The common associated connotations here concerning common vernacular, aka phrases, would suggest he whipped out his junk. This is what the story, and the task of the statement, implies. I am defending language. Always look to the language used in media. His actions are not my scope here, only the sex crime itself, which is what the reporting police officer responded to - his words. I do not defend anybody, but I do enjoy dismantling narratives that mislead the public, which is at least partly what’s happened here. Can I assume that police responding to a sex crime, assumes that a sex crime was respirated? I think that’s a documentation of due process, as the police report shows. There’s a lot going on here, especially since the escalation of this once it was discovered that the jackass was a rich celebrity and daddy’s apparent involvement which I know nothing about.
  12. I am not arguing on his behalf, just against the ‘pulling down his pants’ connotation, which was definitely the headline in most every article that implied a misleading description, as far as the common vernacular goes in our language. I have no position on the indecency aspect beyond finding it similar to what I’ve seen 2am drunks do on the strip. I wasn’t there, but the idea of trying to get into a car with someone is also something I’ve seen and it wasn’t anything sinister. Would this be a story if it were a star athlete? Not unless every intoxicated public indecency act tonight will make it to court as well, let alone a discussion board. Victim statements from all sorts of the pending scenarios might actually make for some kind of reality TV show. I’d still call it Jackass though, not to make light of this women’s experience with Austin.
  13. Heck of a trade chip if they were to package him and Virtanen for something.
  14. Tell me how Bo is a better leader on the ice than young EP. Theres nothing in your comments that you can’t imply for EP as well, only that he’s younger and unseasoned, which is coming and fast.
  15. I don’t like the innuendo of what’s implied when we state something like “pulled down his pants”. We know what that implies. It implies something reminiscent of an old man giving trouble in parks or near an elementary school. That’s not fair. This comment has nothing to do with the jackass routine that this all was. It is about how it is being reported. And, sex crime?! Wtf. Diminishes actual sex crimes.
  16. https://mobile.twitter.com/WALLACHLEGAL/status/1176641239715864576?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1176641239715864576&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gohabsgo.com%2Farticles%2Fofficial-police-report-from-auston-matthews-incide%2F strangely, that report doesn’t seem to appear on TSN anymore, where I first read it. Says right in the first sentence.
