  1. Wow .. don't let logic get in the way of a good story man GTFOH with that ish
  2. In 4 years when hes 22 and over the hill, half of these people will want to trade him for another mid round 1st
  3. Really glad you aren't running the Canucks
  4. I really hate ... that this is being investigated by the league that a sports media outlet is running with it and promoting it that some people actually think he could get in trouble for looking at cocaine that this is even a story.
  5. I definitely understand that thats what it would cost, I think Gaudette is more valuable than an unknown mid 1st Where Gaudette was drafted is irrelevant at this point. He has continually exceeded expectations and I think he has an up to this point untapped offensive NHL upside
  6. I'd love to get another 1st in any year, regardless of what point of any build we're in.. not at the cost of Gaudette though.
  7. Imagine having two pairs back there where each has a guy (QH/OJ) who can do this...going from 0/3 pairs to 2/3 is going to help the team tremendously
  8. I think you're reading into his comments too much.. By the same measure, I could say he only wants to come back to Vancouver due to his Instagram profile picture still showing him in a Canucks jersey All being said, I don't think even NT knows what he wants at this point
  9. You have to have actual issues to want an 7 million a season perimeter player who disappears when the going gets tough. And then continually bag on JV to top it off. I know many Leafs homers who don't even want Nylander on their team, and in fact, I would bet a majority of Leafs fans would do Nylander for JV 1 for 1 without hesitation
  10. I think that says something about your evaluation of value more than anything? I don't think the OP is far off value-wise. Small add on our end and it would be an even trade, IMO. Having said that, I still wouldn't move Bo for that.
  11. The closer to the draft we get, the more it becomes apparent that Caufield will not make it to 10. Initially I had hoped his size might deter some folk and JB would swoop in, but I don't think he gets to us at this point. We will still get a great young player, really do not want to move from 10 though as some have been clamoring for us to trade down.
  12. Yikes, that mock draft did not age well
  13. Hypothetically speaking, who would do this? I know I'd be mighty tempted. To EDM: Eriksson, 2019 VAN 2 To VAN: Lucic, 2019 EDM 1
  14. I literally said my opinion means nothing. Your opinion means nothing as well. But carry on acting as if it does if that makes you feel better I dislike Trump as much as the next guy, but can see the writing on the wall.
  15. My opinion does mean nothing, about the exact same amount of nothing yours equates to.
  16. No veiled insult at all. I am speaking about Trump specifically too. He is a legitimate candidate. Guess we will see come 2020! cheers
  17. No they haven't, but to say a sitting POTUS is not a legitimate candidate is quite asinine. Trump plays the media well, his strategies don't involve being articulate or well spoken. The longer the chase to impeach him goes on, the more it plays right into his wheelhouse.
  18. Trump is a legitimate candidate, he is the sitting POTUS.. Not buying into anything, I don't even support Trump but called him getting elected (amongst my friends) in 2014. Sanders and Biden can be as well spoken and articulate as they want to be and that will make no difference in the race against Trump. The goal of the report was to find collusion, they didn't find any. That is as simple as it gets. They can try to impeach him for obstructing justice or whatever the hell else they think might work, but it'll just play right into Trumps hand. The sooner you accept it, the better it'll be for you lol. There will be 4 more years of Trump
  19. Based on the Democrats not being able to field a legit candidate They have good candidates but none of them have that big-name-draw. Its going to end up being Bernie or Biden and neither of those guys can beat Trump. They might as well retread Hillary again. Mueller report blowing up in their faces didn't particularly help anything for them either
  20. There is not a chance in hell he beats Trump.. It really doesn't matter who the Democrats nominate at this point, I think its fairly obvious Trump will get a 2nd term
  21. They're cheering because their captain and best goal scorer in the league just dropped the mits. Don't make it out to be more than it is.
  22. A guy like Gaudette would really intrigue NJ, I think it would cost along the lines of this, give or take a bit To NJD: 10th, 2020 1st, Gaudette, Virtanen To VAN: 1st
  23. You don't have to pretend its not a problem when its actually not a problem
  24. Jake was actually on pace for near 20 goals. .21gpg (15 in 70) FYI 20 goals in an 82 game season is .24gpg It must suck to be able to have almost anything you say on the average day broken down and refuted with actual facts.
