  1. Edler and Myers both have a cap hit of $6mill (tied with Eriksson). So technically Loui is tied for the highest paid player on the Canucks.
  2. I know fans are excited about this coming season, but as most of said already, this isn't even a debate. The 2010-2011 is one of the most dominant teams in the post lockout era. They could arguably go down as one of the most successful teams to lose in the Cup final.
  3. Pretty good AAV and term for Benn. Also, it's always nice to have some BC boys in the lineup.
  4. Stars add some scoring but also add two of the slowest skaters in the league.
  5. 2011-2012 when Edler, Bieksa and Hamhuis all had 37+ points that year. We also happened to win the President's Trophy that season.
  6. Miller is easily our 4th best forward if you compare his body of work to the rest of the team.
  7. Looking forward to the multiple interview and commercial breaks that will undoubtedly happen when the Canucks pick 3 times in the 6th round.
  8. Stop talking Marty, nobody cares about the Devils.
  9. To all those who constantly cry about trading draft picks, note that the Canucks have 3x 6th round picks this year.
  10. With this trade, something has to give. I can't see us hanging on to guys like Pearson, Sutter and Spooner all making 3million+ next season and now having a logjam at the forward position. I think one or two of them goes (although I think Pearson stays), unless JB can manage to dump Eriksson.
  11. Personally any trade that causes Sekeres to cry and run his mouth is a good trade to me! Welcome to Vancouver JT.
  12. The first is conditional. If the condition is that the Canucks win the cup and they do, then who gives a &^@# about giving up that first.
  13. Unless Hayes breaks out offensively at age 27, this has got to be one of the worst contracts in the league.
  14. In all seriousness, I can't imagine how many tears I would shed if we ever got to see the Canucks take the timeless photo with the cup.
