Fair explanation. Like I said, I liked Tryamkin but if he doesn't want to be here nor does he want to put in the work to be an everyday NHLer, it would be unfair to the rest of the team to just hand him the minutes he is comfortable with.
-
Why though? Cause he's 6'7?
-
Not sure why there is this obsession on hoping that Tryamkin comes back. Don't get me wrong, he showed fairly well during his time here, but based on his comments after bolting for the KHL he clearly didn't want to be here nor the NHL. Why would you want someone who doesn't want to put in the work to be an everyday NHLer nor is a team player? If his attitude hasn't changed, I say good riddance. There are plenty of other guys who would fight tooth and nail to wear the blue and green and would be happy to do so.

Weird, I don't see Jake Wise on that team. Would CanucksArmy know why?
-
Not really, the draft picks were a given. They basically traded Buffalo, although still effective players, cap dumps. They also managed to not trade away guys like Paryko, Fabbri, Thomas, Kostin and Kyrou, who were all rumored to go. It's a solid deal for both teams, but all depends on how St Louis does this season.

I know Quinn is supposed to be a fast skater, but man, he is a slow walker.

2018-19 Utica Comets Thread
pluralsight replied to stonecoldstevebernier's topic in Prospects / Farm Team
Should be an interesting year considering how many home grown prospects will be on this team. Question for the resident Comets experts, how do you think this team will do with it's current roster of players next year? Any chance at a Calder cup or just a playoff contender? -
Looking forward to this:

Burke likes his big boys. You hear talk about dinosaurs, Burke is one.

You should just stick to watching your Rock em Sock em VHS tapes then.

Looking forward to seeing Noah Dobson play live. -
Uncharted 4 was actually the first Uncharted game I've ever played - which is probably why I enjoyed it so much since I didn't have anything to compare it to. I agree with the cut scenes, especially when you compare it to God of War and how it flows so seamlessly.
-
God of War is a great game and one of the best I've ever played. I'm giving it a 9.5 out of 10. Personally, I still think the best game on PS4 is Uncharted 4 - which I could give an 11/10 if I could. Now that is a masterpiece.

Avengers: Infinity War - 9.5/10 I'm biased as I am a sucker for superhero films, but this one was top notch. Not spoiling anything but with a running time of over 2 hours and 30 mins, it sure zipped by pretty quick. Hard to believe they could fit in over 60 superheros in this, but the movie felt like it flowed nicely. Dare I say it, but it might be up there with the Dark Knight - which is the king of all superhero films so far. Can't wait to see this one again in theatres.

Aren't most posters on the Canucks HFBoard just closet Coilers, Lames and Laffs fans?

Wouldn't mind Reaves as well, it looks like he can play for a tough guy. But I'm betting a team will overpay for him (we're looking at $2.5 mill per year) which is too much for a 4th liner playing 10 minutes a game.

Pretty obvious at this point, Gaudette will be taking his talents to South Beach and sign with the Miami Heat.

mother! - 5/10 Not entirely sure how to rate this movie, which is definitely one of the strangest movies I have ever seen, but I'll give it a 5. After watching it through, Aronofsky definitely had some cool ideas but wasn't able to execute it well. I'll give him credit, it was entertaining and Jennifer Lawrence was solid as a damsel in distress, but sorely it lacked everywhere else. This film was not what I was expecting and definitely has a couple of shocking (albeit ridiculous) scenes. It's worth checking out because of its sheer lunacy but I can see why people walked out on it in theatres.

Daniel needs 9 more goals to get 400. If he continues this torrid pace, he may actually reach it by the end of the season.
