I think the only way Edler agrees to waive is if the canucks agree to resign him in the off season. I do see him coming back next season. And Hutton or Stecher getting dealt if Hughes and Joulevi are regulars next season.

Just make a save once in awhile when we need one. When was the last time u see Markstrom robbing someone? Just be decent hes to inconsistent. The guy cries and complains how badly he hates to lose but cant backup his own game.

In 3 games played hes 4.02 with a .883 save percentage. Has let in 2 harmless first shots on net 2 games in a row. At this point his game is beyond trash and should label him as the gvrd landfill dumpsite.

I dont want to get ahead of myself here but expect the canucks to have 4 alternates next season and name Pettersson the captain going into his 3rd season. Listenin to the way he talks and handles the media and how he has a team first attitude you can see hes captain material. And Vancouver loves the swedish captains. Just my opinion here but considering Pettersson being our #1 ctr and if hes putting up crazy numbers i dont see it any other way.

I remember linden mentioned that none of the top 3 were rated in thr #1. I believe they had makar as thr #1 for 2017 or it might just been Pettersson the whole time. Either way i think if they did get the #1 the plan was to trade down.

No chance Leipsic and Goldobin get waived before Gaunce. Not sure why people over-value him soo much. Hes just another Taylor Pyatt but with zero offense to his game. Even Vegas passed on him for a pizza delivery guy... speaks volumes of Gaunce.

Ill be pucken pissed if we had to waive Goldobin and guys like Gagner and Eriksson are still on the roster.

It would prob be the best 123 punch in the nhl. Horvat probably would become 3rd line ctr but i think the mins for all 3 centers would be distributed evenly 16-18mins each.

this is good news because with him in the lineup i dont think we would finish deadlast. we need to draft jack hughes next year.
