  1. Petterson has skills like Gretzky. Calling it now that he was the best player in his draft. For him to have a long career in the NHL we need to surround him with some tough guys because teams will take runs at him.
  2. Pettersson plays better when people pass him the puck. Same with Boeser. Its not that confusing. just get them the puck while in position and they will make good things happen.
  3. Dahlin and or Hughes would give us the puck moving D our team is lacking.
  4. Juolevi needs to round out his game both defensively and offensively. He also needs to be more physical. I think he is most skilled in making good long passes, skating the puck out of the zone, making smart passes and good low shots on net. also being the guy who hangs back protecting the D zone while a more offensive partner runs the play. At times he reminds me of Edler I think he will have a solid 10-15yr NHL career. He will not be our star player, more of a reliable role player.
  5. I missed the game and it didn't show in highlights but was Pettersson playing center against Belarus?
  6. After making a comment like he plans to dominate the tournament; you know all the guys on team Canada and USA will be gunning for him. They will target him non stop with cheap shots and I will be surprised if he makes it our of the tourney uninjured. I hope he dominates and leads team Sweden to victory and is the talk of the hockey world after all things are done. I know he has sick dangles and silky smooth skills similar to Dahlin but I'm not sure how much he can get away with on the smaller ice in North American style hockey.
  7. I would rather have Tyramkin over Gudbranson. I really hope he comes back to our team. Vancouver players, management, and fans would all welcome him back.
  8. Is Nicklas Backstrom still a good player comparison for Elias Pettersson?
  9. I agree, after tonight I feel confident Goldobin will be in the lineup moving forward. I think we can afford to trade some players at the deadline for picks or prospects.
  10. I like Burmistrov.... I love these low risk potentially high reward moves by Benning. I dont mind being patient to see if we have a solid fit in our line up Maybe next game try: Granlund Horvat Boesser Baertchi Burmistrov Goldobin
  11. Dahlen Pettersson Boesser Goldobin Gaudette Lind Baertchi Horvat Lockwood Granlund Gaunce Virtanen Juolevi Stetcher We need some better D prospects -
  12. Next season Baertchi Horvat Boeser Goldobin Burmistrov VIrtanen Granlund Sutter Dorset Eriksson Gaudette Gagner
  13. I think guys like Goldobin and Dahlen will replace Vanek and Eriksson next season
  14. What position will he be playing in Sweeden? Would be good if he developed more as a centre
  15. Unless Benning makes a trade, lets all hope he is ready to crack the line up and take one of the centre spots when the Sedins retire. If he is not we will be using Granlund or Gagner in that spot.
  16. Nice two goal game tonight against Detroit for Baertchi
  17. DraftSite- mock draft has him going 96 in the 4th round. This is going to be a good draft. I hope we can get some more picks 96 Arizona Filip Hållander C Timrå IK(Allsvenskan) 6' 1" 185
  18. Filip Hallander would be a great pick up in the second round
  19. I see Cole Lind as a top 6 player. I think Goldobin will be traded at some point. Pettersson Horvat Boeser Dahlen Gaudette Lind Gadjovich MacEwan Virtanen
  20. Petterson Gaudette Boesser Might make a good future first line in a few years!
  21. Green knows this guy better than anyone. If he thinks he has what it takes to replace Dorset then I trust him. Archie will need to be able to play reliable hockey, hit guys on every shift, and win fights consistently against NHL heavyweights to make the team! Im rooting for him!
  22. Toronto will take him just cause
  23. I am really happy to see our prospects all coming together to build chemistry on one team. Reminds me a bit of Game of Thrones!
