I am really happy to see our prospects all coming together to build chemistry on one team. Reminds me a bit of Game of Thrones!

I wouldn't be surprised if Virtanen gets the 4th line LW spot until Gaunce is back. A year in Utica for Zack and a good off season of training and he could push for a spot next year.

He has a elite vision and hockey IQ. Those things are hard to teach. If he can develop a pro game in Utica i project him as a top 6 winger. Has potential to be a special player.

Granlund is our most skilled offensive player not including prospect IMO. He has elite skill just like his brother. If he plays a full season I predict he has a great year. Put him on any line and he makes that line better. One of Benning's best moves so far!

If we don't draft Rasmus Dahlin next year I would love if we could get Andrei Svechnikov. I think his combination of size, shot, offence, and hard play would round out a forward line nicely with Petterson & Dahlen Dahlen Petterson Svechnikov

DiPietro has heart and he will help win us our long awaiting Stanley Cup. The two of them (Demko & DiPietro) will make a dynamic duo! Both helping the other with their game. No one will be able to get it past our double D's!! Markstrom bridges the gap untill these guys are ready.

Chances of us having another bad season are pretty good so we may end up with one of the top picks in next years draft 1. Rasmus Dahlin - puck moving right defenceman. Off the charts skating and hockey IQ. Exactly what we need 2. Andrei Svechnikov - 1st line RW. Size, passing, clean shot, compete, skating 3. Brady Tkachuk - top 6 C/ LW. Size, grit, agitator, skill, compete, Adding a guy like Brady Tkachuk to our top line would give us that playoff edge we need Tkachuk Horvat Boesser Dahlen Pettersson Gadjovich Granlund Lind Virtanen MacEwan Gaudette Lockwood I think a big body like Gadjovich along side the two Sweeds would be a plus. Their excellent skating would compensate for his slow skating plus he can plunk himself in front of the net. Captain Bo will lead this team on the first line and rightly so A third line of Granlund Lund and Virtanen has a nice mix of speed, size, skill, playmaking, forechecking, and shooting 4th line of big Zach MacEwan, Adam Gaudette, and Will Lockwood provides us with size, fighting, skill, speed, forechecking, and playmaking, Add in more late round Defence picks and I am really starting to like the way this team is shaping up!!

I would say we got 3/4 future NHL players out of this draft + depth players

We finally have an elite first line prospect. A Zetterberg/ Backstrom type of player who makes everyone else around him better. Next year we hopfully land Rasmus Dahlin for our puck moving defence man

He reminds me of a Todd Burtuzi, Milan Lucic type player. IF he can be the top 6 power left winger this team needs that would be huge. One could justify a line of Gadjovich Pettersson Dahlen Granlund Horvat Boesser Virtanen Gaudette Lind McEwan McKenzie Lockwood

Nic Hague would be perfect for me. He has the big shot that we need and he would help fill a spot lost from Sbisa. We havent had a big point shot since Sami Salo. Hague is a feared beast who will help us in playoff battles.

Pettersson could turn out to be better than Nico Hischier. I think Benning took a chance on a skilled kid who had higher ceiling than Glass, Vilardi, or Mittlestadt.
