  1. To me the two moves that make sense are trading Bo and Luke. Their value is both high. If its a hockey trade then a natural move for me would be Horvat for Hronek. Schenn has a lot more team options but could be moved for a C who is 25 or under that can slot up and down the lineup; Maybe like a Nicolas Roy type New lines Hoglander Miller Boeser Kuzmenko Pettersson Mikheyev Garland Roy Lazar Joshua Dries Studnika Aman Hughes Hronek OEL Bear Buroughs Myers
  2. I feel he should take a year off playing hockey and focus on getting bigger, stronger, and a better skater. We all know he has a pro shot, elite passing, IQ, and good stickhandling. He needs physical strength, speed and skating skills. If he can get a year of solid improvement in those areas without worrying about getting injured in a hockey game he has a lot better chance of making an impact when he gets back to playing hockey. He doesn't need to jump into men's hockey right away. His best chance of having a long successful career in the NHL is if he gets to build a proper foundation physically right now.
  3. Ethan Bear and Lane Pederson were excellent value for a 5th round pick. If we move Horvat perhaps Pederson could see some time as a second line C
  4. To Arizona - Tyler Myers, Christian Wolainen, 2023 2nd To Vancouver - JJ Moser LD who plays RD Canucks save money to re sign Horvat and keep Boeser
  5. could we sign him then move him at the draft for a top 10 pick + a player Edit, I could see us agreeing with a price and term for Bo (probably something similar to what Miller got) with the intention to keep him on the team long term and then making some trades right after so his cap works. Like moving Myers & Pearson for an affordable RD
  6. To Detriot: Bo Horvat & Noah Juulsen To Vancouver: Filip Hronek, Joe Velino, 2023 2nd To Ottawa: Tyler Myers, & 2023 2nd from Detroit for cap relief To New York Rangers: Tanner Person & Jack Rathbone To Vancouver: Filip Chytil To Edmonton: JT Miller & Riley Stillman To Vancouver: Darnel Nurse & Klim Kostin - Edmonton gets much needed cap relief and drastically improves their top 6. We take Nurses big contract New lines Minutes can be shared evenly on defense to keep everyone fresher. Schenn becomes the new captian with Hughes and Pettersson as assistants Kuzmenko Pettersson Mikeyev Hoglander Chytil Boeser Garland Lazar Podkozin Veleno Aman Kostin Joshua Studnika Dries Hughes Hronek OEL Bear Nurse Schenn Boroughs Demko Martin
  7. I could see a trade like this making sense for Columbus To Columbus - Bo Horvat signed to a reasonable contract, Luke Schenn, Jack Rathbone To Vancouver - Kent Johnson, David Jiricek, Jacob Voracek, Columbus gets a lot better with these new lines Gudreau Horvat Laine Nyqvust Jenner Bemstrom Chinakov Roslovic Sillinger Foudy Kurali Oliver Robinson Werinski Bjork Gavrikov Schenn Christianson Gudbranson Bayruether Peeke
  8. The sad thing is that if we traded Horvat & Miller for Mcdavid and Draisaitl we still wouldn't be a contender until we have a star studded defense and Goalie situation.
  9. Filip Hronek, Joe Velenoi and a 2024 2nd would be a nice package for Horvat
  10. Can someone please make a thread for Lane Pederson under our prospects, he just scored 2 points in his first game for Abbotsford.
  11. Couple more trade proposals to even out the lines To SJ- Hoglander, Poolman, 2024 4th To Van- Luke Kunin To - NJD -Boeser, Myers salary retained 2023 7th round pick To Van- Damon Severson, Miles Wood Miller Horvat Garland Kuzmenko Pettersson Mikheyev Pearson Aman Podkolzin Wood Studnika Kunin Lazar Hughes Severson OEL Bear Rathbone Schenn Brisbois Boroughs
  12. I would like to get Dahlen and Gadjovich back on our team if the price is right.
  13. To Vancouver - Brandon Duhaime, 2024 2nd To Minnesota - Brock Boeser Why Vancouver does this - We shed salary for Boeser, gain a 2024 2nd back that we lost in the Dickenson trade and we add a 25 yr old LW bottom 6 with toughness Why Minnesota does this - They have had their eyes on home town Brock for a while. He gives them top 6 skill and will help compliment a top 6 line with Boldy and Rossi.
  14. If he can be a 3rd line C option this helps to replace what Dickenson was supposed to bring. Also Helping the club become in a better financial position to make a move for a big player in the future. I like these kinds of moves and want the team to make more of them.
  15. Jack Studnika is a solid prospect who skates really fast and shoots right with a bit of size. Im really glad he is now in our system
  16. Just circling back to this proposal due to the news today. I have to say Im thrilled about the trade for Jack Studnika. I was huge on this prospect which is a big reason why I packaged him with a Horvat proposal. He is one of the fastest skaters in the AHL and he's a right shot C with size. I dont feel like we lost much in getting him.
  17. i wanna trade Horvat to Boston for Carlo, Studnika, and a 2024 2nd
  18. I still think Bo to Boston is the right trade partner. Maybe Boston throughs in a second to make up for the one we lost.
  19. He will only get better as his body gets stronger. He is behind physically right now. He needs a couple years to season in European hockey at his own pace. His skill and IQ are high. With some work they could translate to elite. Adding strength and weight will allow to compete better against men. Patience on this one.
  20. Garland Miller Boeser Kuzmenko Pettersson Mikheyev Pearson Horvat Podkolzin Joshua Aman Lazar Hoglander Hughes Schenn OEL Myers Rathbone Stillman Boroughs Poolman Demko Martin
