i had a border collie whose liver exploded. i never heard of that before. 

its all good Mike. We've always just used Presidents Choice for our dogs and they've been healthy happy pups. Yeah I break down and give them the occasional scrap but for gods sake their lives are so short and they like it so much I just can't help it sometimes. One thing I do avoid tho is giving them fatty stuff. I often give them leftover rice and they seem quite thrilled by that. For some reason it seemed like an ok idea to give them the leftover miso chicken..... it was probably that I was on my 3rd gin. Maybe I should have mentioned that earlier. 

I spoiled my dog rotten...not gonna lie.  I'd cook a roast...mostly for her.  

My ex's dog (lab) is allergic to everything.  Is on a raw duck and veggie diet ($$).
